What Elixirs/Flasks/Buff food do you use in raids to boost your performance?

I am currently using both spirit food and flasks (with mixology).
This is because I am raiding 10 man and 2 healing almost every fight. Would I be switching to 25 man. I will probably switch to intellect flasks and food. Ofcourse this also depends on the fight.

For mana regen I use either master mana potion or potion of focus if the fight lets me.
As for prepotting, I often use potion of the jade serpent together with HoW. for some steady dps in the first 40 seconds or so. That ofcourse if the fight let's me.

Describe what you think you would bring to our guild if accepted. (raiding and social aspects)

I am a serious person when it comes to raiding. I always try to perform better and tweak my character and my playstyle to do so. Though I am relaxed in general and easy to chat to. I consider myself a verry sociable player. Apart from that I am verry dedicated to the game and raids so you will rarely see my performance drop no matter what reason.

Reason for Leaving:

Since I have not been in many guilds I will combine this section together with previous and current raid experience since the reasons for leaving Ðreamcatchers correlates to my raid experience.

When did you start this character and how long have you /played?

I started playing my druid at late WotLK. Since then it has always been my main and I have pretty much always played resto. My current time played on this character is Roughly 70 days.

What encounters and raids have you experienced in Mists of Pandaria? and what previous raid experience do you have on this char? + Reason for leaving my old guild.

The Ðreamcatchers:

-- The reason why I never raided in the main raid of Dreamcatchers was because they start their raids to early and I didnt feel the need to leave since I was raiding with my own group. (Explained below). --

From the moment I started playing this game and started playing the druid I had been in The Ðreamcatchers. I started out as social clearing Icecrown Citadel, and then went on to organizing 10 man raids. for some of the raider alts and socials. I started with this, early Cataclysm. It became verry succesfull and well known on the server if I say so myself. A lot of socials started joining Ðreamcatchers because they saw that we were making raids for them. So after a while we made multiple groups 10 and 25. They were never really aiming for heroics but it was alot of fun and we went throug the content with relative ease.

When Dragon soul came some core mebers of my 10 man stopped playing and I was feeling the need to start raiding more serious, so I stopped raid leading and started looking for options. 2 guilds called Despair and Stelth Killers asked me to join their alt runs, wich I did and I performed good enough to stay. Back in those days the alt runs that they did were not far off progress compared to the main raids they did, so we were pleased with the rate we cleared content in. In the end we cleared full heroic just after the first nerf if I am correct.

At the start of Mop I was not able to raid much if at all. I did raid a few times with some old friends from vanguard and last resort (25m). and cleared most of the bosses on normal. But I was not really playing much back then. Not untill mid Throne of thunder when I came back to the world of warcraft and stared playing serious again. I cleared every normal boss in Throne of thunder. And did not really have the time so start heroics because SoO was getting close. So I said goodbye to al my friends and told them I wanted to start rading heroics again like I always loves to do and missed. So I started looking for a new guild. And one of my friends was making one aiming to hit heroics.

RaidworX:

When I joined raidworx we had to build the guild from the ground up. We started with 3 people: me and 2 friends. We started looking for people to join our core 10 man and it took some time but when SoO finally hitted live we were ready to rock and roll. We cleared 13/14 within 2 weeks and Garosh in the 3rd week. We could have done it sooner but gear was lacking (full normal ToT pieces).

Right now RaidworX does not feel like the guild I want to be in. The enviroment is not comfortable for me (screaming by the raidleader etc.) And we have lost some core raiders because of this problem.

What do you think YOUR responsibilities are in a raid?

My responsibility in raid is to be aware of mechanics and knowing when my raid is going to take damage. I need to be prepared for this, by knowing wich actions to take before the damage starts comming in. Apart from this I feel responsible for communication with other healers, on when to use what cooldowns etc. And stay in contact with tanks so they know they can rely on me and I can rely on them, and so that I can know when they dont have any cd's ready etc.

What is your Spell Rotation/Priority ?

I do not have any priorities or rotation. My priority is to keep the raid near 100% health. I do that by using my skillset to my advantage.

When I start a fight I usually prepot and dps in HoW for the first 40 seonds or so if the fight lets me.

I always keep 3 stacks of lifebloom and a rejuvenation on the tank that is currenly tanking.

I use healing touch when I know the tank or a raid meber will drop low and/ or when I have 5 stacks of my 4 set, or my Harmony is about to drop off. If not I will keep harmory up with Nourish.

I usually use Swiftmend/Wildgrowth (Soul of the Forest) combo on cooldown. Unless there is a certain moment in the fight where I know it can be worth giving it some downtime. Calamity, Swelling Pride, etc.

I keep my efflorence on the ground where it will heal 3 raid mebers, who preferably take constant damage. I rejuv people that will take damage and took damage.

Genesis will be used as a spot healing cd.

I try to have atleast 3 targets rejuved all the time so my nourish glyph works so I can do some quick spot healing. Regrowths will be used during lucidity combined with rejuvenation spam.

On clearcasting I usually use regrowth but If I have it glyphed I sometimes also use Healing Touch.

My tranquility will be used at times I have coördinated with other healers.
It will ALWAYS be used with a Soul of the forest Swiftmend combo.

Natures swiftness will be used for spot healing. and can be used as a mini lay on hands when I have 5 stacks of my 4 set (2 instant Healing Touches).

My utility cooldows such as Stampede, Sprint, Barkskin, Ironbark, Innervate will be used when necessary.

Why have you chosen to reforge, gem and enchant the way you have? Give a brief description on why particular stats are good for your class/spec.

Currenly I am reforged and gemmed to reach my 37.52 % spell haste cap, wich results in me having more benefits of my spells because I am getting more ticks out of rejuvenation, wildgrowth, liffebloom, Tranaquility and the Soul of teh forest Swiftmend / Tranq - wildgrowth combo.

After that I go mastery since it generates more healing then going crit, as long as you have 100% uptime on harmony. Currently my spirit is at a good number to do some steady healing without going out of mana all the time.

Why did you choose to apply to this guild in particular?

I am looking for a steady guild who raids for heroics content, and where raids start past 19.30. Who play serious and always try to improve themselves wich I think Is required to be good at this game and to progress in heroic content, and I believe that this guild can offer that and that is also why I applied.

Players you know / How did you come across us?

Saw that you were reqruiting a resto druid in trade yesterday. Talked to who I think was one of the oficers for a bit, and then made the application today.

* I do however (for now) prefer to play till 23.30 because I am currently enrolled at the universety.I have spoken to one of your officers about this issue before applying and they said that you guys could work around this.

If for any reason I can not attend those houres I will make it aware to one off the officers. usually atleast 24 houres before this occurs.

Ofcourse I will also be playing thoughout the day, but that will not be at the exact same times.

Previous online gaming experience:

I have played League of legends for a long time combined with battlefield 3. MMO wise I have only played World of Warcraft on a serious level.

I am apologising for any gramatical errors I have made in this application. I have tried to correct most of them, but my English grammar is not the best. this is actually looking quite good to me tho i got some concerns.
your mastery level seems suuuuper low even tho i see your going for the 13k haste cap wich is super nice. i would probably go to a lower haste cap and more mastery instead tho. but its a personal preference aswell as playstyle. obviously it will also get higher with gear. so its nothing to worry about too much.
my 2nd concern is your amount of heroic raid experience. its not my place to judge people or anything but as a guild member i take the liberty to look at applications and it really bothers me that theres no real heroic exp MoP worth noting. but then agian, i suppose everyone have been at that point in their "WoW carrier"
i'd say give this dude a go, even tho he's dutch wich is a huge minus.

I can understand your thoughts about my mastery rating. I am currently trying 13k haste out. I used to go for the lower haste caps and more mastery, but to me it feels like the haste is more suitable for the way I am playing. I have also compared logs and it seems I am performing better with my current stats.

I can also understand the issue with my current "tier" heroic experience. I can howerever promise you that I am used to heroic content raiding, and I am pretty sure I still have the skill to perform Smile

I can however not understand how you can think being dutch is a minus ! Surprised

I have only really been in 2 guilds since I started playing. And the reasons for leaving those are explained in my raid experience section. I have combined the 2 questions, since they are somewhat in correlation with eachother.
