What Elixirs/Flasks/Buff food do you use in raids to boost your performance?
Depending on the fight and my mana usage I use an INT or SPI flask. I mostly use +275int feasts

I am a easy going South African guy. I like being social on /g or in vent. In terms or raiding I feel that I am a competent player that understands the dynamics of what makes a team able to kick a dragon in the proverbial nuts Smile

Reason for Leaving:
I started raiding during WOTLK on Alonsus. As my skill and ambition grew, the easy going guilds lost their appeal. Moved from Vincibility to Eclipse purely due to progression. Moved to Genesis because of the fact that the majority in Eclipse was happy with a very slow progression rate.
Left Genesis with the drama that happened around the RL leaving and took the opportunity to get my druid well developed (both playstyle and experience) with Go Defensive. Go Def pretty much exploded and I got an opportunity with Obsidian. Went on to kill Spine pre-nerf and Madness realm first.
Ad Infinitum approached me and offered me a spot in their raid team. I decided to move due to their past record and the fact that it was 25 man raiding.
Early into MoP I changed jobs and the stress of work, trying to maintain my char (dailies etc) and 6 days a week raiding got to me. I decided to take a leave of absence.
I re-rolled my priest and joined a guild on Silvermoon with the intention of raiding fairly casually with them for 3 days a week. Unfortunately I have been bitten again and I need to progress... I am not happy with the casual raiding attitude

Total /played time is around 240 days with my ex-mains.

What encounters and raids have you experienced in Mists of Pandaria? Please state if it was on 10man or 25man and was it normal or heroic
During mists I killed 3/6 HC MV 25Hc with tries on Spirit Kings when I took a break.
I came back two weeks prior to TOT and am currently on 5/13 Hc.

What previous raid experience (Vanilla, TBC, WoLK, Cata) do you have on this char? Please only mention stuff you did at the time when it was a current raid, we dont need to know you can clear black temple when you are level 90.

During WOTLK I played a Holy Pally:

What do you think YOUR responsibilities are in a raid? :
Give a original answer here, saying to buff and dps/heal/tank isn't really worth mentioning
I am the life saver. Playing disc has a dynamic that I quite like. As a Pally or Resto druid healing was always very reactive and there are times when you have a heal incoming when the person dies. As disc a well timed PW:S can save a life long enough for a "real" heal to land.

What is your Spell Rotation ?
I favour different playstyles for different bosses atm. Will list two:
Horridon - Attonement Spam for the most part with MD or single dispels at the first door. SS+AA coat the raid for the AOE, Halo before the cast finishes.
2nd Door, Attonement until the damage starts going out. Pop a bubble slightly ahead of melee and start POH, penance and PW:S when people get the bleed + poison. Same rotation for the AOE.
3rd, rince and repeat
4th, more of the same using fade when the bears spawn.
Down phase, SS+AA and POH. and bubble during the awkward double AOE.

Magaera - Triage with Attonement during the downtime with a PS:S on the cinders carrier. Around 10% health of a head I pop SS and AA and cover the raid. Move in, PoM on cd with Divine Star and POH spam. I use Barrier on the 4th and last head normally.

Why have you chosen to reforge, gem and enchant the way you have? Give a brief description on why particular stats are good for your class/spec.
I am running a crit heavy reforge since it gives me the best output so far. I have run haste builds on Horridon before and tried Mastery but crit just "feels" stronger with DA proccing regularly.
I am also getting to a point on certain fights where I just can't get rid of my mana quick enough and am considering trading off some spirit for int or crit

Why did you choose to apply to this guild in particular?
I looked for high population servers and then for a guild that has a 4 day a week schedule. Your progression is also at a level that I feel comfortable with learning quickly.

What days can you play and what hours during those days (Please let us know now so no confusion is caused if you were to be accepted)?:
(Members are required to be available for raiding at least 3/4 nights week with higher attendance preferred.) Raid days are Wed Thurs Sun Mon. 2000-0000 server time we do occasionally stay later if we are close to a kill. Fri & Sat are off nights but if people are online we try to do alt runs or RBG's.
I can commit to every day listed and the times specified.

Used to play CS 1.6, source and go as well as COD. Some Dota when it was still cool Razz

Anything else you'd like to include about yourself:
I am applying as Disc but I am able to play holy if required. I just haven't felt the need this tier. (Tortos being the only heroic so far and disc was adequate in my raid group)
I don't see or maybe missed questions about my talents and glyphs.
my 90 talents change as the fight does. I use cascade often but I find decent usage for Halo and Divine Star on certain fights. I like PI for disc and use mindbender. I know Solace gives good mana returns and it remains an option for me. However on progression where I focus on figuring out the best way to heal the fight I prefer mindbender's simplicity. Cast and forget. The rest I think is pretty normal.

All looks good really. Only problem I really see is the the pure spirit gems. With your gear level you shouldn't be having mana issues. Also I go for Solace and Insanity because although the 1% mana it gives doesn't sound like a lot but it is quite nice combined with Shadowfiend.

Shadowfiend gives 9,000 mana back per tick and does 8 ticks which = 72,000 mana + 3,000 mana is 75,000 mana.

Mindbender does 4,383 mana per tick and does 10 ticks = 43,830 mana.

To get good mana return from Mindbender you would have to use it on CD no matter what % mana you are on. So there will be some ticks that is going to be wasted. Where as Shadowfiend you get 3mins after use to burn mana with top ups from Solace and Insanity and all the ticks of Shadowfiend won't be wasted.
