Previous Guilds: Eminence - Gehenna Gladiators.

Reason for Leaving: It's a long long story! Eminence, born in November 2009! Member since 2010! We started on Private server, i grew there and we faced almost every Expansion, being first and raiding for H and RF! After years on Privates, we decided to move on Kazzak (Jenuary 2013) We wanted to be competitive, to achieve many many things, but moving here, we lost many many members and we were raiding with shitty un-motivated ppl! Was impossible to continue so, we disbanned the guild. Gehenna Gladiators, a good guild 12/12 ToT, they wanted me to heal, i joined couse there couse my Ex G-Master did, but im not good as Disco, so, seems im not what they are looking for, and here im Smile

When did you start this character and how long have you /played? Started on Jenuary as well. Time played: 23 Days 4 Hours 42 Minutes.

What encounters and raids have you experienced in Mists of Pandaria? Please state if it was on 10man or 25man and was it normal or heroic: During MoP, we almost finished everything before the release of ToT, we started Heroics as well, we wanted to achieve full H MsV and HoF before the 5.2 to be more competitive and run for some good place... But, nothing! As player, i know all the fights of the Prev content, N and H ofc, and cleared 3/6 H MsV 0/6 HoF and tryed many time Tsulong H. Talking about ToT, iv downed Jin'Rokh, Horridon, Ji-Kun and Durumu! Actually i have 8/12 Perfect knowledge of ToT but i didnt killed them all couse Gehenna, were switching ppl for a better raid set up! Tryed many many Times Jin'Rokh on H. Talking about the missing bosses, i have just a teoric idea, but i learn fast. Very fast.

What previous raid experience (Vanilla, TBC, WoLK, Cata) do you have on this char? Please only mention stuff you did at the time when it was a current raid, we dont need to know you can clear black temple when you are level 90. TbC fully cleared, Wotlk cleared on N and H! Cata, till 4.0.6 BwD cleared till Nefarian, N and H! BoT till council N and H! Rest, was not scripted...

What do you think YOUR responsibilities are in a raid? :
Give a original answer here, saying to buff and dps/heal/tank isn't really worth mentioning: this is a nice question, and ill give out my personal Point of View of WoW, to explain my self. Many many ppl do not know exactly WHY they keep play wow. I enjoy the game, yeah, but i love the PVE content that is avaible on this game only, the raid Atmosphere. So, how do you enjoy the game? I enjoy it succeeding Stuff, learning from my mistakes, i do some! So, my responsabilities,are two and simple: Succeed on everything i do, not causing stupid wipes and, ofc, being positive and Help the ppl i play with as much as i can, this can be in a raid situation, or outside the game ofc.

What is your Spell Rotation ? Dots (Vampiric Touch SwPain) -> Mind Blast -> Mind Fly (Untill the CD on MB is Gone) -> MB -> Dots again! Using Halo to open the rotation.

Why have you chosen to reforge, gem and enchant the way you have? Give a brief description on why particular stats are good for your class/spec. My stats priority it's easy, and even easier now with the release of 5.2, where haste, becomes way much more reliable and important. Intellect > Spirti (Till Hit Cap) > Haste > Mastery > Crit. Mastery, back on every exp till cata, was almost useless, infact we were giving out priority to crit, this time, will give to our periodic Shadow dmg a % of possibility to deal it twice! And well, this is a good think! So actually once you reached the 24,smt mastery it's fine, and you are gonna reforge it from crit spirit (If you reached the Hit cap 15,00%) or Hit. Intellect, was and will always be the most important stat, that increase spell power nad ofc, spell critical hit by a %! Haste, now its way much more important, we dont just reach the brekout point (24.94)% we go higher and Higher and Crit, well, crit it's not that important Smile

What days can you play and what hours during those days (Please let us know now so no confusion is caused if you were to be accepted)?: I can play without problems on: Sunday - Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday! All the day. Ofc, those one are days where i can attend 100% the rest of the days my attendence is lower!
(Members are required to be available for raiding at least 3/5 nights week with higher attendance preferred.) Raid days are Sun-Thur, 2000-0000 server time we do occasionally stay later if we are close to a kill. Fri & Sat are off nights but if people are online we try to do alt runs or RBG's.

Your enchants are fine but some of the gems I don't agree with, I mean you should only ever skip a socket bonus if it's crit/spirit I wouldn't skip int and haste socket bonuses it seems you are.... as for the way you reforge your quite abit over the hit cap download something like reforgelite to help u cus that % you are over the hit cap can go to a more useful stat... as for the way your prio reforges : Haste > Mastery > Crit? the only time i'd even prio mastery over crit is when you either A ) Have the LMG meta GEM or B ) Are using Unerring Vision of Lei-Shen, if u have neither then imo it's Haste > Crit > Mastery, now onto the rotation bit any reason you didn't mention using nsanity? seeing as insanity is used on most fights... I mean stuff like MB off CD and putting up dots and re applying dots and halo off CD and dp x 3 etc you've got the basics but there more to it like how to max halo dmg and when to refresh dots for certain procs etc... well i've given my advice think u could of added abit more info but as I said seems u have your reforges correct on your toon but the way u prio reforges you don't imo and the gems u have correct only some u do not and same with rotation you have some of it correct only abit curious why insanity the strongest talent this tier wasnt even mentioned, but i'd of loved to know more info also your experience isnt great but even tho u lack experience doesnt mean your a bad player but as i said i've given my thoughts on your app other than that gl.

Well, actually i tryed to kip haste over 28%. I skipped the 120 Haste bonus on the waist, couse actually soketing a 320 haste was way much more haste than 120 (from bonus) + for Example a reckless that is 160 and 80 Intellect for a total of 280 Haste. This is just an 80 intellect loss. For the shoulder, the reason it's the same! 60 intellect it's not a gr8 soket bonus, so, i decided to give prio to haste. You are right talking about the mastery over crit, and ill fix this as soon as i can! About the talents, there was not a question related on them, i explained the basics of the rotation and i totally forgot to add the 2 talent procs: From Darkness comes Light and Divine Insight! Ofc ill be using MS only when it procs, and ill be using it right before the MB cd is close to the end, so after the MF, to reduce the mindblast casting speed! And ofc, MB procs as soon as avaible, specially on moving situations! Thanks for the reply Smile

Well 60+ int bonuses & 60+ haste bonuses may be worth skipping not 100% sure but the bigger +120 bonuses like haste and crit I wouldnt miss i'd socket them..... but FDCL dunno why you'd use it i'd always take MF:I aka insanity over FDCL everyday of the week like 99.9% of the sps are and then use DI when you need to move alot i'd use PI if u dont need to move much and can time it perfectly..... i'd also use ToF when quite a few adds on bosses.

Well FDCL its a dmn dps improve!!! About PI.. This is abolutely smt that ill never use lol... ToF it's quite usefoul on some situation, but for the rest, the set-up that i take on is the one that im currently using! Swithing smt depending on the boss situation!

If u look at most sps they dont use FDCL m8 maybe on council and Tortos but theres 12 bosses and FDCL can be used on 2 bosses but the way u describe it you use it on every encounter which is very bad and taking it over the strongest talent this tier MF:I and taking FDCL over it really puzzles me and PI is good as I said if you can use it properly but if u cant then use DI, MF:I & DI is mainly used on most bosses and btw this is tier 15 not tier 14 in tier 14 i'd of said FDCL and DI on quite a few fights ye 100% but in tier 15 def not cus MFI is so much more dps overall.

Horridon - MF:I + ToF + Cascade.

Council of Elders - MF:I + ToF + Divine Star/Halo.

Tortos - MF:I + ToF + Cascade.

Megaera - MF:I + PI + Halo.

Ji-Kun - MF:I + PI + Divine Star.

Durumu The Forgotton - MF:I + DI + Divine Star.

Primordius - MF:I + ToF + Cascade.

Dark Animus - MF:I + ToF + Cascade.

Iron Qon - MF:I + DI + Halo.

Twin Consorts - MF:I + PI/DI + Halo.

Lei Shen - MF:I + DI + Halo.

Just feels with your talents your stuck in tier 14.

M8 seriously, i know my class, i play it since tbc.. You dont even know the proper name of the talent, MF maybe you ment Mindbender, i dontk now how to tell you that MB it's just an improved vers of the dmn Shadowfriend, that gives more mana! FDCL it's what almost everyone chosed from that tier, since is the only way to use the dmn MS, that otherwise it's totally USELESS.. And an Spriest that goes OOM... FFS lol. The real talent stiwhing will be on ToF - Cascade. And on the way i told you Before, onestly, PI it's a total mess, and a healing talent, since it's another dmn think that you must time, i dont really get in my mind a prooper way to use that, and back to tier 14? Uhm no.. I just know m class, and im on every forum/web were they discuss those things... Howtopriest.com and many others, trust me, you have a bad ideao of how shadow priests work on MoP, and if you want i can link you top Spriest Armory here, so you can check how GOOD priests play.

Or maybe you meant Solance Insanity >.>" But yeah, go count on a dummy the time that from the Periodic Dmg from VT proc the istnat cast of MS and the time you are using the SI one, that is related on the use of DP with 3 orbs! It's a bad talent for me, couse on most of the fight you're moving TOO much! And you want me to use it on Council LOL this is absolutely not a good chose for fight where you move too much, and you know, most of the tatalets are sobjective, like reforges and enchants! I play that way, i feel comfortable with mine, like you feel confortable with yours!

I'm quite sure there is an acronym confusion here. I believe Sharpz is referring to Solace and Insanity when he mentions MF:I. (SI everywhere else I've been)

They are probably the top shadow priests atm, and for the same Boss (Ra-den) they both chosed different talents, ther is not a BEST think, mostly it's about your playstyle, and gear.. In my case, i lack of gear 508 compare to your gear (@Sharp) it's nothing, and the proc from VT it's gr8 deal for me, way better than a 3 sec DI proc from DP, but yeah, i never said your chose suck, i might be wrong! Ofc i might be, and ill be the first one testing them and reach a full knowledge of them depending on the situation.

So your linking me vals wow armory and basically telling me he runs FDCL + DI i can asure u cus i speak to val quite abit when I need advice on something that if u look at his rankings etc he runs with PI sometimes and DI/ToF etc if u look at the TOP sps and the top 100 logs maybe u will find 5 ppl out of a 100 running FDCL + DI together etc and as for that website dunno what that is but go look on WoL etc and then get back to me cus i asure u 10000% that most the sps run the talents I said on each boss.

I am well aware of what the talent is called and does the short name for it is called Insanity, same as I am well aware what minbender is you think I dont look at howtopriest and see what top sps use ? I also do alot of research into my class etc if I even thought for 1 moment ppl was running around with FDCL and DI together alot do u think i'd be sitting here telling u not to use them.

As i said, for me it mostly dpend on the play style and gear, but i might be wrong! You must agree me when i say: Useless on movements fight, since you dont even have time to cast it! PI i dont really know, some is advicing it some one no! I dont personally feel confortable with most of your talents advice on certain boss! But maybe im wrong, i see more PI a talts to in case you dont have to much movement to do, ToF where thers many adds to Hit and Divine insight, where you move alot! About SI, i didnt consider it that much, but in effect in can be a nice dps improve, ofc where you are not moving too much, or it doesnt wort it. This is my personal poit of view and as soon as i can ill test your one and check if im actually totally blind >.> Btw we moved a bit out of topic i guess..

I did say few posts back PI is good if you can use it properly personally I don't see the point of using PI over DI on most fights the only time i'd take PI and even then I am on 50/50 let me explain Jin'rokh for the puddles but then maybe when i've popped PI etc i get a focused lighting meaning I need to run out which makes the talent become useless due to RNG and then we have durmuru if your on blue you can go PI u dont need to move but what if I get another beam means PI yet again becomes useless... I take DI personally on most fights along with Insanity as Insanity is our strongest talent this tier.... like I also said in previous posts DI is good for fights you need to move alot and ToF is good when theres quite a few adds up like horridon, Primordius, council, Tortos = ToF, DI = Jin'rokh, Megaera, Ji-Kun, Durmuru, Dark Animus, Iron Qon, Twin Consorts, Lei shen... basically i'd only ever take PI if I know I dont need to move much etc...

3. SI + DI = correct but also depends some ppl take ToF over DI.

Basicly, ofc, we are talking about TOP spriest, right now in my case it's a bit harder, you have to take in mind my gear, and since i didnt really test PI and SI, i dont have anything to add, iv alredy posted many many reasons of why i didnt use them! The only think i can actually add is that this apply has been interesting and usefoul.. I have many things to try/test and care about...

(Btw i reforged Crit > Mastery and fixed the Hit cap!) Tested on dummy SI + PI and yeah, ther's a dps improve on single target, but ofc, not moving at all!

I call it insanity but for the sake of it i'll call it SI but ofc SI and PI are gonna be good together on a dummy u dont need to move : D now try SI + DI and n1 on the reforges

Haste > Crit > Mastery = good

When you get Unerring Vision of Lei-Shen or the LMG you'll then go

Haste > Mastery > Crit.

But this entire discussion I admit as been fun and i admit some of the stuff u did correct and some u didnt like your +60 bonuses at 1st i didnt think could work but at the same time i was 50/50 but the bigger +120 bonuses like haste, int i wouldnt miss 100%, crit/spirit sure.... your gemming is bang on i'd of changed a gem or 2 tho but this expansion your experience isnt great but like I said few posts above just cus someone lacks experience doesnt mean there a bad player apart from the talent discussion I wouldnt mind seeing u play but it's not my call, some WoL from LFR with u running the talents what myself and oomkins linked could help more anyway gl with the app mate.

Unfortunately, the only log i could take yesterday, it's a Jin'Rokh 10 Man normal PUG, where i died... And stop. Had on SI + PI ill post it aniway... but the grp sucked so badly that i cant even explain! At least i got the thunderforged Shoulder.
