From a raid pov, i read up on my class and try to keep on top of whats what. via mmo champ, elitist jerks, hunters union etc. Im always prepared and ready. i also look for ideas and work arounds to tricky encounters and where possible offer suggestions if appropriate.

From a social aspect, I play pretty much every day. when not raiding im up for pvp or achievemnt runs or whatever. im sociable and generally up for doing things.

Algorithm, good guild, fellow migrants to Kazzak but short lived they all left for SWTOR.
Castaways - current guild. joined here after a few months off trying swars with Algorithm.
Nice people but been really hard work keeping a team together to clear MoP Heroic.

I left bloodhoof where id been since launch due to a low pop and lack of things happening. it just felt dead. Im not much for guild hopping, the list above reflects having played since launch and all things coming to an end. Of all the guilds Ive been in Tainted Souls would be the highlight where we got horde first Illidan, server 3rd and just had a great team of people.

Reason for Leaving:
Castaways is a fairly casual outfit and with the lack of people willing to show for pogression even with a 30% debuff it feels like flogging a dead horse. Outside of raids theres no one on. with MOP on the horizon it seems a good time to move on.

When did you start this character and how long have you /played ?
This toon started as a farm alt, rolled either end of vanilla or beginning of TBC. i started getting in to him seriously at the end of WOTLK and now dont play any of my other characters. im totally hooked on hunterism. 98 days played. 55 of them at 85.

What encounters and raids have you experienced in Cataclysm? Please state if it was on 10man or 25man and was it normal or heroic

What previous raid experience do you have on this char?
Karazan would have been my first raid on this toon. then not much till late WOTLK and early CATA. Current raid progress on him would really be the CATA raids listed above.

Overall raid experience would be
Vanilla
enh/resto shammy Soulrcrusher. Cleared most things except Nax
TBC.
Destro warlock. Cleared everything except Sunwell as the guild fell apart half way through SWP. realm 2nd/horde first Illidan would be the high point with T6 probably being my favorite wow tier.
WOTLK.
Cleared Nax on my DK, guild needed a shammy so switched to him for Ulduar and ToC. Back on the DK this time as a tank for ICC.

What do you think YOUR responsibilities are in a raid? :
Apart from raw DPS, as a hunter you can bring a wide range of buffs and abilities. I keep a well stocked stable for this. Aside from that you can help out in various places. Whether its a sacrificial pet to save the tank on say Chimaeron or if lacking a DK for DG or warrior for charge stun a web pet for snaring sappers on warmaster. As a hunter theres always something extra you can bring. i like the out of the box thinking and general room for uncoventional tactics you have as a hunter.

What is your Spell Rotation ?
As survival its really about ensuring max uptime on your dots, serpent sting, black arrow/explosive traps to proc L&L and spam ES, ES, AS (although differning theory craft on the need to slot an AS in re clipping) filling with AS. The changes in 5.0.4 bringing readiness as baseline and some fun talents like toggle trap launcher on.off, dire beast etc help round out the spec. im also experimenting with BM but its not that great for the latter half of DS.

I have a lot of addons tbh. Aside from DBM, recount and Omen I use Serenity Js hunter cast bars, bartender, shadow unit frames, skinner, chatter easy mail, auction light to name but a few

I play pretty much every night. 8pm onwards is ideal so i can get home from work, get my son to bed, read him a story (hes 4) etc.

Im a mature guy, i work in IT, ive a young son who once in bed leaves me little else to do bar play wow. ive played since launch and would like to find somewhere i can settle in to enjoy wow.

A group of us came here from Bloodhoof and weve struggled to find a good stable guild we can call home. you will also be recieving an app from my wife - Hilarious (disc/holy priest) and our friend Ricer (rogue). weve all played together since vanilla/tbc
