What Elixirs/Flasks/Buff food do you use in raids to boost your performance?

Flask of the draconic mind and foodbuff as standard. Potion, tends to be potion of concentration

Describe what you think you would bring to our guild if accepted. (raiding and social aspects)

If I am accepted I bring an experienced, solid and dependable healer. Both my specs are healing and have played disc and holy simultaneously throughout this content depending on the boss/raid composition etc. I am always ready at the start of the raid, have my gear enchanted/gemmed appropriately and carry my own food buffs/flasks etc. I have raided as a healer since vanilla, initially I played a restoration druid then on my priest from wotlk onwards. I keep informed about my class/changes to it, tips etc using various priest forums, picking up hints and tips for encounters wherever I can. Am looking forward to being in a guild with actual people to talk to about healing matters though rather than just reading on forums..

Socially, I'm pretty laid back, friendly, chatty. When I'm not raiding I'm either doing old school encounters to pick up some long lost achievement points, dailies to raise my rep with people (for more achievement points) or doing pvp. I have only just started pvp'ing so if you armory me don't get a shock when you see I have only won one wsg etc! Was never really a pvp fan until recently:p

Previous Guilds: Novus Ordo Seclorum - Bloodhoof Vanilla - tbc

Reason for Leaving: I havent actually left this guild on my first druid, NoS was my first ever guild as well as my first raiding guild (and call me sentimental, but I cant bare to leave, they havent kicked me either it has to be said, despite the passing of time so I guess its a mutual love-in?). Cleared everything except Naxx (got up to Thaddius) as tbc came out and raiding stopped for levelling. Raided with them on my alliance druid, getting server firsts on the way. I am still in there as a friend of the guild, popping on to say hello to some old friends from time to time. I stopped raiding with them as I was pregnant with my son and could not commit to the raid schedule.

Tainted Souls - Bloodhoof tbc

Reason for Leaving: Guild disbanded when AoC was released; I had made a new druid on horde side and joined Tainted Souls. Cleared all content up to Sunwell, then apathy from guild members who did not want to wipe while learning new encounters and the introduction of AoC combined with a dwindling horde population all served to complete the demise of Tainted Souls. Achieved server first horde with them.

After Tainted Souls disbanded I levelled my priest and joined NoS (see first guild), completing ICC heroic

Server changed to Kazzak and joined Algorithm. They were a small group of friends who had also server transferred here and were building a 25 man guild. We made good progress in Dragon Soul achieving hc kills etc, then it just all seemed to fall apart. A combination of holidays and Star Wars meant the raid team went from 25 man to struggling to get 10 man in a matter of weeks, was really unbelievable...Took a small break from wow..Returned and joined Castaways; they had just transferred from Bloodhoof and were looking to build their 10 man, they had the same progress as I did prior to my small break. Have achieved 8/8 with them. Really nice bunch of people but its been so hard to get 10 people to turn up for more than one raid a week, its painful. Theres hardly anyone online if its not a raid night so its kinda lonely sometimes too.

When did you start this character and how long have you /played ?

I started this character at the end of tbc, not sure when I reached max level but it became my main in wotlk and I cleared ICC on it when ICC was current. I have 125 days /played

What encounters and raids have you experienced in Cataclysm? Please state if it was on 10man or 25man and was it normal or heroic :

BwD, BoT, TotFW and Firelands on 25 man and 10 man. Started Dragon Soul on 25 man achieving heroic kills, am currently in 10 man hc raid team.

What previous raid experience do you have on this char? Please only mention stuff you did at the time when it was a current raid, we dont need to know you can clear black temple when you are level 85.

On my priest I have experieced the following while the encounters were current -

ICC full heroic clear

BWD 5/6 HC
BOT 1/5 HC
ToFW 2/2 Normal
FL 6/7 HC 25 and 10 man
DS 8/8 HC 25 and 10 man

What do you think YOUR responsibilities are in a raid? Give a original answer here, saying to buff and dps/heal/tank isnt really worth mentioning;

My responsibility is to react to the encounter, whether that be shielding/pre poh'ing to stack divine aegis on the group to mitigate incoming damage or healing the group/tank back up after a damage spike. I have played a healer since vanilla, keeping people alive during encounters is all I have known. If I am dispelling I do so safely ie when people with the debuff on blob boss are far enough out of the group, or when they are inside the big bubble on hagara. I try to keep my overhealing to a minimum, however I wont hold back on a big heal if things are looking dicey.

What is your Spell Rotation ? As a healer I dont have a spell rotation as such. If I am playing in Disc spec I cast Spirit Shell then Prayer of Healing on the groups to stack many bubbles for mitigation, for example prior to the big purple pool on the boat boss. I use Prayer of Mending on cooldown and if in Holy spec will make sure over teamspeak everyone knows where the lightwell is (and to click it:p).

Why did you choose to apply to this guild in particular? I'm looking for a solid, stable 25 man raiding guild that are focussed on progressing. Im not a guild hopper, I want a guild I can progress in raids with, but also do other things with, have fun etc. A guild which is not going to disband/fall apart during current content.

Players you know / How did you come across us? I don't have any friends in Cerebral yet. Saw your realm forum post.

Are you or any of your alts currently guilded?: On Kazzak my priest is in Castaways as is my paladin (lvl 80), I have a druid in my bank guild oto. On Bloodhoof I have a druid in NoS

What days can you play and what hours during those days

I can play every day and can raid 3 4 or 5 nights 8-12.

Previous online gaming experience (if any):

Prior to Vanilla wow I had no online gaming experience. I have dabbled in lotro, coneman and starwars

Anything else you'd like to include about yourself: I am an expat living in Switzerland with a 4 year old son, and so have no babysitters around for wild nights out. He is in bed at around 7pm, so from then on I am pretty much housebound:p I am therefore fully available to meet your raid times and/or do alt runs, pvp etc

Everything is alright here.

Few things i would change, but that's down to loot drops and its difficult in 10 man to get exactly what you want. And a few enchants.

Bracers from Hagara.
Boots from Warmaster.
Offhand from Ultraxion.
Ring from random bosses, even i don't have that yet...
And to be honest i would rather go for the shadow gloves because of the more mastery it gives. ALSO. Change the glove enchant you have currently to 65 Mastery.

I will double check with Crabble (Crab-end [Crabby]) too see if it's okay with him.

Actually, forget that. That means i have to actually talk to him...

/w one of us in-game tomorrow before raid.(preferably before 6 server time) so we can get you in and tested.
