Previous Guilds: Raven of Kilrogg. Dignitas of The Venture Co.

Reason for Leaving:
Raven: Got fed up with the 10-man scene.

Dignitas: Guild split up because of people playing starwars instead and that the realm has a really low population, making it very hard to recruit. Considerations were made of moving to another realm, but not enough people was willing to go along, hence it broke =(.

When did you start this character and how long have you /played ?
I think I made this toon around ulduar times, and got it leveled up for ICC, not sure on that part though. I am sure that i've raided ICC with it =p.
Played on it is 45 days with 27 at 85.
This is however not my first and only character, i've been playing since ZG, the old one, although didnt do much raiding at the time.

What encounters and raids have you experienced in Cataclysm? Please state if it was on 10man or 25man and was it normal or heroic

At the time I was playing a paladin and a rogue, but I suppose it still counts as experience of the fights. I've cleared 6/6 Blackwing Descent on heroic 10-man. BoT, 2/5 heroic 10-man. Throne of the four Winds, 2/2 normal 10-man. Firelands, 6/7 heroic 10-man. Dragon soul, First boss hc on 25-man. First 4 bosses 25-man normal, the last 4 normal 10-man.

What previous raid experience do you have on this char? Please only mention stuff you did at the time when it was a current raid, we dont need to know you can clear black temple when you are level 85.

Again, I hope it still counts as experience if i've done it on another character.
Karazhan and Gruul when it was cool i've cleared many times. Magtheridon and all but Archimonde in Hyjal. I've cleared all but kael'thas in the eye when is was cool, missed out on SSC, black temple and sunwell sadly.
Came back strong for raiding in wotlk and cleared naxx in 25-man. The eye of eternity 25-man. Sartharion (OS), 25-man, about first 4 bosses in ulduar, then I hit a brake again. Totc all but anub'arak. Cleared all of ICC in 10-man.

What do you think YOUR responsibilities are in a raid? :
Give a original answer here, saying to buff and dps/heal/tank isnt really worth mentioning. A big thing I see is to make sure I stay alive, even if that means it nerfs my dps a bit. If i'm dead that wont do any good to anyone. Keep focus on timers to know when things are about to hit or happen. Even if I dont call things out, it's important that atleast I do what I should when things happen.

What is your Spell Rotation ? Try to open with hardcast pyro, followed by living bomb and flame orb, then fireball. Throw the pyro-procs when possible, but a fireball that's midcast should not be wasted for a proc. Keep living bomb up at all times. Monitoring my combustion addon for good times to use it. Try to get as many stacks of the 2p of T13 before setting it off.

Why did you choose to apply to this guild in particular?
You seemed to have about the same progress as my previous guild, dont want to be carried, I want to do my share. Also the fact that you're raiding 25-man is what I want.

Found you on the reqruitment forum on battlenet.

Alts and Level (if any):
Have a bunch of alts on an old realm. Paladin, Rogue at 85 for example.

Are you or any of your alts currently guilded?: Seeing as I will be transfering to your realm and they are on an old realm, this is not really relevant in my opinion.

What days can you play and what hours during those days (Please let us know now so no confusion is caused if you were to be accepted)?:
(Members are required to be available for raiding at least 3/5 nights week with higher attendance prefered.) Raid days are Sun-Thur, 2000-2330 server time we do occasionaly stay later if we are close to a kill. Fri & Sat are off nights but if people are online we try to do alt runs or RBG's.

I have no trubble on playing thursday, monday and tuesday. I cannot play on wednesday ususally since I have other activites on that day. On sundays I can play, problem is I cant make it on raidtime because of busses going home are usually late. Seeing as you start at 20.00, I should be able to join at about 20.30 or 20.45 if unlucky. So sunday is not really a no, but not a complete yes either sadly.

Previous online gaming experience (if any):
I played Diablo 2 and the expasion for a number of years before gotten dragged into wow.

Anything else you'd like to include about yourself: I'm a nice guy who like a challange and is always trying to be better at the game. Any advice to improving are welcome =)

Maguz and clans will take a look at this later properly but id recommend getting a dps Screen shot with DPS AND Damage done as for all i know the 26k on dummie could be jsut 1 fireball without overall damage aswell.

As far as I know Dumble tried to get Dignitas to another realm for better recruitment, but to no avial, sadly.

keep in mind we have a Strong core of mages and all pretty good dps reliability and understand tactics pretty well. so it is a hard gp to get in to

Hello,

A nice application and it shows that you have a good idea about your class and how to gear and play it. Just a couple of things I would like to point out.

1. Replace the haste enchant on your gloves with the +65 mastery one, whilst mastery is our worst stat haste past the soft cap with the T13-2PC (1505) is severely degraded.

2. Based on your current armory you are quite a lot over the hit cap (1742) and just short of the haste cap with T13-2PC (1505) meaning you are not getting an extra tick of combustion when Bloodlust is up. Your stat prio should be this: Int = Hit (17%) > Haste (1505) > Crit > Mastery

I would suggest changing the reforges below based on your current armory:

Cloak: Mastery -> Crit
Gloves: Mastery -> Crit
Legs: Mastery -> Crit
Boots: Haste -> Crit
Wand: Hit -> Crit

When gearing in the future I would suggest using http://wowreforge.com and setting a manual cap in the settings for Haste to 1505.

3. I don't really have much more to add however I see you killed Majordomo Heroic 9 times, do you not have the [Flowform Choker] from him? Just because of the gem socket it makes it a fair bit superior to the valor neck and still best in slot this tier. Not sure how tight gold is for you but if you have enough I would suggest getting the [Bracers of Unconqured Power] with epic gems in they have a lot more intellect on them over the valor ones.

I will change the enchant on the gloves as it is indeed a good switch. I usually use the reforge-tool and was about to do it before I saw your post here. Will fix it asap.

Quick question, i´ve read that the haste-cap for the extra tick is 1505, is that wrong?

As for the neck from firelands, all I can say is that luck with drops from that clown of a boss have not been great for me =p

Gold is not that a big of issue for me, should you know anyone you can make the bracers it would be most appriciated.

Yes sorry for the typo, I wrote 1505 further down the page, but yes if you have the 2PC you should be aiming for 1505 and 2005 without it for the extra tick. I've edited my original post with the optimal reforge values.

you have made the right reforges now and everything seems fine. only thing i can wish you is gl, since as crabby said we have some mages that are here pretty much everyday to raid...
