Professions and Skill Level: Leatherworking 525 and Skinning 525 (until i have a alt to provide the mats, then going for JC as good raiding stat.)

What Elixirs/Flasks/Buff food do you use in raids to boost your performance?
Flask of draconic mind, and the Severed sagefish head(got 525 cooking)

And if needed i always keep a decent amount of mana bottles in my bags for the tough times.

Desribe what you think you would bring to our guild if accepted. (raiding and social aspects)

Raiding:
A person with good knowledge of his chosen class (Resto druid) Don’t mind to wipe on progress runs.. Got used to that on my previous guild while progressing and it’s a part of the progress:). A fast learner got some exp on the PTR server. But with bad luck encountered mostly rude or fail raids in the LFR. But managed to clear 5/8 of the raid in the limited time i spent on PTR. And of course watched the loot tables to maximize gear in 4.3 and all the raid vids from Learn2Raid (prefer L2R over Fatboss etc.)

Social: Nice guys willing to help people with stuff. In for the occasional fun run etc.
Likes to talk to ppl in guild chat and discuss the daily business in WoW.
Like the talk i’ve had when asking Crabby about the recruitment shout in /2 trade.

Previous Guilds:
Alternate Reality (on Alonsus-EU) later the main raid team(including me) left to form Reverence.
After this split we struggled to get a good solid 10 men raid team together every night because of the low horde population on Alonsus.

Reason for Leaving:
Like mentioned above the low horde population makes us (me and the guild) struggle to get a decent raid team together and available 4 days a week. And after long time of thinking what to do i decided to migrate to a other realm. After checking out couple of realms on newly made alts my eye felt on the heavenly populated horde side on Kazzak. This made me finally take the decision to say my old guilds and friends goodbye Sad

tried to pursue some of them to follow the step into the unknown with me. So summary: Lack of raiding because of low horde population(capable people) made me take the decision to leave AR and migrate.

When did you start this character and how long have you /played ?
/played = 28 days and 13 hours. (23 hours at 85.)
Started my char in 4.1 BUT i’ve had a account way back in Vanilla gave it away(Nephew) because thought i would never be back. Partime job and Uni etc. Stopped for a long time and got back not that long ago.

What encounters and raids have you experienced in Cataclysm? Please state if it was on 10man or 25man and was it normal or heroic
BWD, BOT and ToT4W all normal 10 men modes before 4.2 got out. And with the release of 4.2 my first real tier after my big break 4/7HC FL also on 10 men. (low pop server)

What previous raid experience do you have on this char? Please only mention stuff you did at the time when it was a current raid, we don’t need to know you can clear black temple when you are level 85.
Like mentioned above did not do much except the old vanilla 40 men raids and Cataclysm 10 men raids.

What do you think YOUR responsibilities are in a raid? :
Give a original answer here, saying to buff and dps/heal/tank isn’t really worth mentioning
Listen, learn and execute and of course don’t stand in the fire!
Take care of my own food and flasks. Can’t always count on a cauldron or feast to be prepared for you.

What is your Spell Rotation ?

Depends on my role in raids.
Resto druids are real group healers because the other classes are better at tank healing. Druid lack the faster powerful heals but druids got excellent AOE heals in return.

Only used to raid in 10 men groups so my rotation will be based on that.
I always keep lifebloom up because it provides me with mana and heals for a good amount. Usual target is the MT or OT because they sustain damage throughout the fight and most of the raid gets damage in certain parts of the fight so with that i will time Wild Growths. And if the encounter becomes more familiar it’s much easier to time with the 8 sec CD and you can throw Wild Growth a lot more often so that you won’t be missing out on the time it really needs to be up.
If group is healed up i will use nourish to help the tank healers and heal up the raid but without wasting to much mana on the bigger but more expensive heal Healing Touch. The Nourish spell is a filler for the Resto Druid. And of course it will keep Harmony up which increases the healing done. Both Lifebloom and Harmony(mastery) are important spells/buffs to keep up all the time.

On the clearcastings procs it’s really benefiticial to throw a healing touch or regrowth because of the no mana cost.

And last but not least the awesome swiftmend with efflorescence with the 4 set bonus and my alysrazor trinket Smile

It’s important to use swiftmend in a group because of the efflorescence proc. It is really OP on fights like Majordomo staghelm where there is heavy damage incoming while stacked. But also on cat phase to heal up tanks and melee dps in the middle of the room.

Innervate needs to be popped on Power torrent proc to get the highest amount of mana in return for the spell. Don’t use a on use intel trinket at the moment.

Power aura’s to time the spells better.
Using a cooldown timer
Got Recount but don’t display it during raids because it takes up necessary screen space. (Can be used to check if raid reaches amount of dps needed to kill boss before enrage, and to check if respeccing helped a bit or not etc. Healing wise hard to check dpsing on a dummy is easier to check respecs.)
And ofcourse Decursive to quickly dispell and Grid. (all wrapped in the ELvUI)

Do you have a microphone & Ventrilo installed?
I got a headset with a good mic attached (Xtatic digital 5.1) use it to play Battlefield 3 on ps3 and for WoW ofc.

Describe your skills in spoken english:
I speak English reasonable well and can understand it without issues

What's your connection & computer hardware?
I’ve got a 120mbits connection but am playing wireless and it puts about 80mbits trough.
Always have low ms on home but slighty higher world ms but i think its because of the heavenly populated server.

Hardware:
Intel 2500K
8gb of corsair vengeance ram 1800mhz Cas8
Ati HD4870 (waiting for the HD7000 series)
Playing on a 24 inch Samsung 1680x1050 resolution
Using a Logitech G15 combined with a Logitech G5 mouse. Of course with the necessary G buttons to put macro’s or keybind under.
A funny thing with the keyboard is you can put time delay into the macro’s you design but i’ve read people got banned for using that in WoW so never used it.
Running on a steady 60ish frames in raids. In the heavenly populated oggrimar not always hehe.
But am capeable of see all the effects from spells in raid etc. To avoid the stuff fire etc.

Why did you choose to apply to this guild in particular? I’ve seen the announcement in /2 trade and had a nice talk with Crabby. And i’m really interested to join a 25 men guild. Seems like a real challenge to me. And i’m looking for a serious progression guild.

Players you know / How did you come across us?
To be honest i don’t know any players on Kazzak yet. Talked to some but imo that is not enough to say you know someone.
Like mentioned above i’ve seen the announcement in /2 trade and seen the name Cerebral on wowprogress etc.

Alts and Level (if any): I’ve used to got alts on the old server i’ve migrated from but imo those aren’t worth the money to transfer them.
I’ve send all the heirlooms to my main and transferred them with Azurai (my main) to this server to level up a new alt on this server.

Are you or any of your alts currently guilded?:
Like mentioned above got no alts on this server. And abandoned the alts on my old server only use them to talk to my old friends now and then.

Did you read our Rules & Policies?
Yes i’ve read the rules and policies and understand and accept them.

What days can you play and what hours during those days (Please let us know now so no confusion is caused if you were to be accepted)?:
(Members are required to be available for raiding at least 3/5 nights week with higher attendance prefered.) Raid days are Sun-Thur, 2000-2330 server time we do occasionally stay later if we are close to a kill. Fri & Sat are off nights but if people are online we try to do alt runs or RBG's.
Raid nights aren’t a problem. In progressions weeks i am available like all night except the Saturdays i mostly go out and get a drink in the city etc. But i think most people will do this to let off some steam from the work week etc. The start time of the raids is no problem for me. My old guild also raided from 20 server time. I workout 3x a week but that is from 17:30 till 19:15 so i’m home way in advance of the raid start.

Previous online gaming experience (if any):
Final fantasy 11, WoW back in vanilla, Rose Online(not sure if you know this), Rift beta.
And of course shooters like BF2, BF3, BC2 .. you probably notice i’m a battlefield fan lol.

My real name is Stefan, Looking for a active raiding guild to progress with and have some nice chats and fun runs.
Hoping i will contribute to the team effort and help the raiding team to a higher level of performance by committing myself to get better.
Like playing soccer and workout in the gym to let off some steam after a day at the office.
