What Elixirs/Flasks/Buff food do you use in raids to boost your performance?

250 Flasks, I carry Mastery, Crit, and Haste 125 food, as well as Str/Int Runes. Mana Potions, Sleep Potions, Int Potions (when a bit more damage is needed (Butcher Mythic @ low ilvl says hi). I also carry Str potions should a healer ever need to be swapped to Dps.

Describe what you think you would bring to our guild if accepted. (raiding and social aspects)

I'd bring reliability first and foremost. Having raid lead my previous guild, I'm someone that will always look at an encounter in depth. I pride myself on being the guy that can do the odd jobs when needed.
Socially, I'm one of those that likes to sit on TS/Vent/Mumble even when a raid isn't scheduled just to chill out and have a laugh.

Previous Guilds:
In early TBC I raided in a couple of guilds in Doomhammer, I can't recall many names, but I progressed upto SSC and a bit of Hyjal as a Warlock (because shadowbolt spam was easy)
Vita Nova - Quel'thalas/Kazzak
Reign - Quel'thalas

Reason for Leaving/Raiding History:

I started Vita Nova originally with a group of friends in Wrath. We competed in the Strict 10 bracket (not having 25 man gear). We peaked at 14th in the world for ICC (although it only had a few thousand that actually competed in this bracket)
That followed into Cataclysm where we continued as a 10 man, killing Maloriak around 800. It was at this point I was recruited by the top guild on the server at the time (Reign), and with many of my friends calling it a day I joined them.
I stayed in Reign throughout Tier 11 and upto Rag in Tier 12, picking up several top 200-500 kills. Around 300 wipes into Rag, my old raid friends had come back to the game and wanted to restart Vita Nova.
MoP released and we decided we wanted to push for world ranking, sticking still to 4 days a week, 3 hours a night. We managed to finish Tier 14 in the top 500, and ToT around 190 (with several 150 kills).

With WoD we had to double our roster size, and being on a realm like Quel'thalas (which had just been merged with an Alliance heavy server) meant we had to move, which brought us to Kazzak, but even the pool of players here wasn't enough to fulfill the needs of many of our best players, so we decided to fold it and go our separate ways.

When did you start this character and how long have you /played?

I started my Paladin originally as a tank for our alt runs in Naxx (Wrath), but turned it into my main. It currently has 358 /played.
I switched to a Frost DK briefly in T11

What previous raid experience (Vanilla, TBC, WoLK, Cata, MoP) do you have on this char?

In TBC I cleared upto SSC,
Everything since then has been cleared as current content, with several top 150 kills and 5/6 Realm Firsts on Quel'thalas.

What do you think YOUR responsibilities are in a raid? :

To be the guy that can be relied on. The guy that hardly ever sets a foot wrong. The guy that you can give a job to and know it will be done.

What is your Spell Rotation/Priority?

Only a few things as Holy that would be considered a "Priority".

Obviously keeping beacons on the tanks (or swapping to someone else that has a job that consists of a lot of damage intake, for example, Ko'ragh shields). Keeping EF on the tanks, and keeping as many on the raid as possible.

Holy Shock on Cooldown is a must.

Why have you chosen to gem and enchant the way you have?

At this moment in time this is how my Paladin is simming:

Int ~= Spi ~= SP ~= Mult > Crit ~= Haste > Vers > Mastery

Although, Crit is widely regarded the "go to" stat for Holy, followed by haste. Spirit is also a little overvalued at this moment in time, mainly due to our 2/4pc coupled with Divine Purpose.

I current have a Mastery Gem in my chest, due to playing a Ret most recently, this will be changed to 50 Crit, and with a bit more gear, I'd change my weapon enchant to Mark of the Thunderlord.

One screenshot is with WA's and the other is without. Please note, that obviously most of the WA's you see are never up at the same time, and a lot of them are external's I'd call for when I was Protection.

Most of these logs are old, and most you'll find are Prot and Ret, but if you require more as Holy, I'll be happy to find a PuG run and log that instead.

Ofc, I use DBM, I've tried BigWigs but I didn't like it for most fights, although I believe for one or two encounters it's prefered, which is fine.

I have an old guild friend that has joined you. I've heard good things, and what to be apart of your future successes.

What days can you play and what hours during those days (Please let us know now so no confusion is caused if you were to be accepted)?:
(Members are required to be available for raiding at least 3/4 nights week with higher attendance preferred.) Raid days are Wed Thurs Sun Mon. 2000-0000 server time we do occasionally stay later if we are close to a kill. Fri & Sat are off nights but if people are online we try to do alt runs or RBG's.

I'd be available for every raid.

I must add, for every 1 week in 5, I go on call for work. Although this has never effected my raiding in the 12 months I've been doing it, I must add it here just incase I ever do get called up, in which case I'd need to be swapped out for 20/30 mins.

Previous online gaming experience (if any):

I played Counter Strike 1.6, this was my first online gaming experience, back on a 56k dial up connection. Painful times. Although when I finally got broadband I turned out to be pretty good! I moved onto CS:CZ and competed in various online tournaments.

Diablo 3, when new seasons are released, I tend to play non stop until I get sick to death of it again.

CoD, although not much recently, not a fan of the newer one's.

My Little Pony, Gold Extreme Edition.

Anything else you'd like to include about yourself:

In MoP, I also ran CM's for server first times as a Hunter and an Ele Shaman, picking up most FoS and several really good world times.
In WoD I've only completed them all of my Paladin so far, getting 2/3 Server First time FoS (although it was an the start of the expac, so nothing to really shout about.
It's late, so forgive any mistakes or things I've missed, I'll correct them and answer any questions you have.
Being a previous raid leader/guild master, I've never had to write out an app before, I've always been on the other side poking fun and looking for flaws, so be gentle!

I knew him yea, can't member speaking to him much. Mainly spoke to the Gm of reign (orthwein). Think reign had a few ex One Wish players (maybe rioh was in one wish?)

just curious about your stats prio, you value mult over crit along with INT, SPI, SP but already said you would gem for crit ^^

When i read about your simming it sounds more like you prefer
INT ~= SP > Multi > Crit ~= SPI ~= Haste > Vers > Mastery

While i agree that in the current tier our mana is quite stable you still shouldnt underestimate its value. And especially not with the upcomming tier where you probably will be going away from DP again.

Thats what i'd agree on, if you swap mult and crit.

Hi Kyuuba,

The stat priority I gave (Int > SP > Multi > Crit etc) is only what I'm simming at, not what I personally prefer, hence why I said I'm still going for crit.

As for understating it's value, again, I only mean for current tier due to our set bonus and DP. It remains to be seen how much we'll be effected in HFC.
