:: Application ::
-----------------------------------
Character Details
-----------------------------------
Character Name: Lepreas

Class: Druid

Level: 100

Armory: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/silvermoon/Lepreas/simple

Garrison info:
- Barn - Savage blood farming to keep my pouch full and have best crafted gear when they were viable.
- War Mill - quickest method to gear followers appropriately to always have gear caches at 100%
- Trading Post - Utilize mats gathered through herb garden + mine for money. Keeps me well stocked with Garrison Resources.
- Bank - Utility, increases # of work orders so I always have orders working throughout the night.
- Tannery & Enchanting for utility.

What Elixirs/Flasks/Buff food do you use in raids to boost your performance?
- Greater Draenic Intellect flask.
- Mana potion for fights with no healing throughput downtime. (e.g. Butcher)
Channeled mana potion for fights with healing downtime. (e.g. BF during transition before last phase)

Describe what you think you would bring to our guild if accepted. (raiding and social aspects)
- As I take an English degree, I hope to utilise it by not only using it as a coaster, but to pop out a few puns and jokes (which my previous guildies would agree and both painful and hilarious). I'm very chilled and am hard to anger, so you can expect next to zero points where I'm anything but calm. With raiding, I'm extremely flexible (as what a druid is capable of). An example of this would be the tactic of my guild's mythic Butcher kill, wherein I took HotW and spammed wrath during bloodlust. Furthermore, I'm always on the lookout for mythic kills on YouTube to see what other druids are doing through progression. An example of this would be the use of Nature's Vigil on H+F mythic (where my preferred talents are either HotW for burst or DoC for a filler spell).
-----------------------------------
Character History
-----------------------------------
Previous Guilds:
- Sanctuary (Shattered Halls), Sick (Outland), Pawn (Silvermoon).

Reason for Leaving:
- I stuck with Pawn, my previous guild, until the officers officially disbanded, despite there being tensions beforehand. I eventually left in seek of a new place to call home and test my abilities to the max.

When did you start this character and how long have you /played?
- I initially made the character under the name Larharl on Shattered Halls in 2008. It has since then changed names and servers a few times.

What encounters and raids have you experienced in the past, Pre-Patch MoP, After 6.0 etc? HC / Mythic.
- I experienced a full clear of mythic SoO before the 6.0 stat squish, but other than that my pre-raid experience is nothing worth mentioning as I haven't pursued hardcore/semi-hardcore raiding before.
- 6/7 mythic HM
- 1/10 mythic BRF
Although progression has been stifled due to my previous guild being unorganised and thus falling apart.

What previous raid experience (Vanilla, TBC, WoLK, Cata, MoP) do you have on this char?
- I remember raiding through Naxxramas at a competitive level on Shattered Halls, but as I said before, on the grand scale of things it isn't impressive. As aforementioned, I cleared SoO @ mythic wherein I realised the pleasures of raiding to a top standard.

What do you think YOUR responsibilities are in a raid?:
- To bring the best gear available. Previously, there were guild members not bothering with herb garden/work orders to get elemental runes and thus I got the 710 ring a week before them. Thus it's my responsibility to bring the best gear possible, with plenty of potions and such essentially to last for a night of wiping. Keeping voice communication quiet in the middle of a fight so what's NEEDED to be said can be heard easily. Furthermore, utilising all spells in my toolbelt, so that I bring more than just healing to the mixture (e.g. glyphing roar when necessary).

What is your Spell Rotation/Priority?
- I start by casting two healing touches to have my 4-set buff up, and keep it up until I need to use a wild growth. Lifebloom is kept up on a tank, as I need the regrowth HoT to be available whenever I need to consume it via Rampant Growth and then be able to cast another spell wherever it need be. Nature's swiftness regrowths are available during spike damage (crippling supplex) and if extremely high spike damage is about to happen, I'll consume the previous regrowth's hot to ensure the next will top someone completely.
The issue with using Rampant Growth is mana, which makes DoC quite vital as a "filler" spell instead of healing touch. Unless the boss and the raid is stationary, I refrain from using wild mushroom (unless at the start where mana is negligible) as it costs 5%+ mana.
Despite my preferred healing methods, I keep up to date with kill videos on Youtube regarding what talents, glyphs, and spells other resto druids are using. For example, nature's vigil on H+F. The fight needed too much movement and using wrath as a filler (even with its y[x1.5][x1.2] buff) was just unfeasible. I hope I've given enough information to show my competency, but I'm stuck between not wanting to write a novella and not wanting to seem too short.

Why have you chosen to gem and enchant the way you have? Give a brief description on why particular stats are good for your class/spec.
- Despite being a great stat for utility, mastery is too powerful of a base healing increase to be ignored, and so I have enchanted and gemmed for mastery. As I gear my BiS around mastery and haste, the large increase of spirit with the shadowmoon enchant works multiplicatively with the stats and playstyle I use.

Post a UI Screen Shot (this is so we know how you see what's around you):
- I like a clean UI so I can see extremely clearly what's going on around me (https://40.media.tumblr.com/9c2d7d25b9fb1eca08860098cf986b02/tumblr_nle2ulbrzl1tbnk0oo1_1280.png)
Addons such as DBM, H+F helper, and others are visible during boss encounters.

Provide a relevant Warcraft Logs report from your past guild/raid:
Mythic Hans'gar & Franzok: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/rankings/character/6008919/7/#boss=1693

Logs of note (all available through the link just above):
Mythic Hans'gar & Frankzok: 89% percentile @ 47.2k HPS
Heroic Blackhand: 92% percentile @ 53.5k HPS
Heroic Iron Maidens: 97% percentile @ 39.4k HPS
Heroic Thogar: 95% percentile @ 43k HPS
Heroic Gruul: 96% percentile @ 55k HPS

-----------------------------------
Technical Information
-----------------------------------
Do you have a boss mods installed?
- Yes. Anything that can affect or increase my play has been considered and downloaded. If there are any specifics addons that the raid uses, I will be of course happy to download.

Please list any other addons you use to help you raid.
- Hansgar and Franzok Assist is a beautiful little addon to help with smart stampers. I considered using HoTTimer during HM progression when Germination was viable, but it wouldn't correctly display the duration of the second rejuvenation. The standard UI tracks HoTs sufficiently, and so it seems needless and would just result in a cluttered UI.

Do you have a microphone & Ventrilo installed?
- Yes.

Describe your skills in spoken English:
- As an English student born and bred in England, I really really hope it's fluent.

What's your connection & computer hardware?
30mbps fibre optics
2.3 Ghz Intel Core i7
8GB 1600 MHz DDR3
NVIDIA GeForce GT 650m 1024 MB

-----------------------------------
General Information
-----------------------------------
Age: 21

Country: England

Why did you choose to apply to this guild in particular? A combination of things. The website looked promising, the impressive progression, and the 3-4 raid days are all attractive prospects to me.

Players you know / How did you find us? M'fraid I'll be a newly transferred person, and so do not know anybody within the guild. If necessary, I can give you names of people who would speak honestly about my aptitude. I found Cerebral through wowprogress and with a high need to recruit a new restoration druid.

Alts and Level (if any and which guilds they're in):
100 Elemental Shaman @ 655 iLevel
100 Shadow Priest @ 645 iLevel
100 ~ Warlock @ 655 iLevel
They're scattered but if need be, can be brought to Kazzak.

Did you read our Rules & Policies?
- Of course.

What days can you play and what hours during those days (Please let us know now so no confusion is caused if you were to be accepted)?:
- As a student, my schedule is extremely flexible, and so I can make all raids.

Previous online gaming experience (if any):
- Platinum rank on LoL
- Hearthstone rank 11
- uhh... runescape character with a dragon long? I'm not quite sure what you're looking for here Razz

Anything else you'd like to include about yourself:
- Compared to other players potentially applying, my unique selling point is that I believe myself to bring a good ethos to a raid environment and that I find theorycraft to be both an essential and enjoyable part of competitive PvE on Warcraft.

Thanks for reading my application, and if there's anything else you'd like to know, please message me vie the email or battle.net listed below.

Ahh, thank you! - I've updated the main post. Apparently linking a link wasn't my smartest move. Sorry for the inconvenience. Smile

feel free to ask me to take this post down (officers).

I have a question, based on a few healing trials we have had recently.
What is your reaction to being benched on progress fights and fights in general?
i doubt this will happen but should it be required and you have to be sat for any given reason, please reply as honestly as possible.

Hi Mienien, thanks for your question!

Firstly, it depends what I'm being benched for. If restoration druids are weak on a fight, I'd be MORE than happy to sit out for progression's sake. If, however, I were asked to sit out because the roster already has a resto druid and thus I'm filling in rather than solidifying my raid spot, I'd feel less than. This is all under the pretence that I've completed my trial, though. But, of course, during progression and the fact that I'd be entering the guild as a trial, then my spot in a raid would obviously not be guaranteed.

I hope that answered your question.
