-----------------------------------
Character Details
-----------------------------------
Character Name: Sikkbass

Class: Fury Warrior

Level: 85

(Provide us with a link to your profile in the Armory)
http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/kazzak/Sikkbass/simple

Professions and Skill Level, please also explain why you raid with these main professions.

My chosen professions are Jewelcrafting and Engineering. The profession enchants from JC are self-evident with those nice Chimera eyes but I would like to explain my engineering enchant of Synapse springs to gloves. I have macro'd Synapse every time I Collossus Smash meaning I get an incerase of 480 Strength every time my Synapse is off CD in a time where I need it most (i.e. CS-ignoring opponents armor) which I will talk about. I chose these professions as they are the best for me in terms of gaining extra DPS.

As you can see I am a warrior who DPS's in Fury spec. I find this to be the most damage intensive spec for PvE and it seems to be the norm as of 4.2. Towards the end of the last patch Arms was catching up but now the focus for DPS is in Fury. I pick Titan's Grip as I am used to it and always have been a 2h duel wielding machine

One of the things I pride myself in is learning my class and trying to tweak out every possible DPS I can from my gear/gemming/enchanting choices. I will start by looking at my gemming choices. The best stat for warriors is of course strength. So all of my red gem slots are full of +40 strength or my Jewelcrafting specific gems of +67 strength. These slots are a given. For my blue slots I like to gem for the bonus as it is proven by some theorycrafters it is a 5 DPS increase contrary to people who said to gem for strength unless it was a >20 strength gemming bonus, I prefer the extra hit in any case as I can gain more rage that way which equals more attacks.

The stats us warriors look for is 8% hit (soft) and 26/26 expertise. As a general rule it is nice to be sitting at 19% crit so as to keep flurry up and haste up consequently. I have a talent tree of 8/31/2 which has changed since I required my 2 set bonus as 1 point is left in Booming Voice as opposed to 2 as it allows time for the buff from Battle Shout to be used in a Colossus Smash CD maximising DPS. The other point is now in Die by the Sword to get to the next tier.

I enchant no hit on my boots in favour of Lavawalker as the increased running speed leads to more uptime on bosses and therefore more DPS. I see some warriors question me as to why I do not enchant hit but I still maintain Lavawalker is superior. Apart from that all my enchanting is standard.

What Elixirs/Flasks/Buff food do you use in raids to boost your performance?

I use the Flask of Titanic Strength as my main priority stat is of course strength. I will eat Beer-Basted Crocolisk for the additional strength as well. I will also double pot Golemblood potion for the imbah DPS boosts.

Desribe what you think you would bring to our guild if accepted. (raiding and social aspects)

I am a Warrior who likes to maximise my DPS at ANY gear level, I will do extensive research into my class using methods such as forums, SimCraft and talking to other warriors (on MMO Champion) helping me to develop my class for it to be optimal). I bring an open – mind and knowledge of my class so I put everything into him. I am very open to criticism within raiding and if I am doing something wrong I will take on board advice and rectify things. I work hard and show respect to my guildies. Gear can be replaced, but you can not change the person behind this gear and this is what I would like to show you foremost and that is 110% effort.

-----------------------------------
Character History
-----------------------------------

My past guilds have all been on Steamwheedle Cartel which is an RP server.

I first joined Consortium of Light who were a pure social guild and learnt a lot of this game from the GM called Aseren who I respect much. I will be taking a warrior tank (heirloomed of course: D) there. When I was around that guild I learnt quickly and started pugging ICC25 where I learnt to play my class. I developed high DPS and went into my class, I started to use tools like WoWArmory to see what other warriors were doing with gear and gemming (Armor penetration :p).

I noticed my DPS increase and I started topping recount on 25 - man Pugs and decided to then apply to The Wanderers. I got in and raided for a few raids but two other warriors were given a regular spot and I struggled to maintain a consistent raiding place.

Upon the start of Cata I moved to Horde where I joined a PvP guild (Tenacious Defender) who I raided BoT and BwD with. The guild fell apart after the guild leader left so I moved to a top five raid guild called Watch This Space with whom I cleared all content with, I maintain I never missed a raid. There was then a lull in raiding before Firelands (a time where I really wanted to raid) so I joined a newly formed guild called Resurrection, who seemed to down 5/7 in one night. I was not picked for the first 2 weeks so I worked hard on developing my player and showing my loyalty by signing every week even if I was not chosen. I got my break once and ever since raided on every occasion and cleared all up to Ragnaros (Normal). However a healer left so we struggled to replace him. A lot of players considered moves and the attitude in the guild disintegrated so I find myself where I am now.

When did you start this character and how long have you /played it?

Coming up to a year and a bit. The /played on Sikk now is 135 days, 6 hours, 26 minutes and 54 seconds which is a decent amount within the time period. This is my main and I put a lot of resource into him.

What encounters and raids have you experienced in Cataclysm? Please state if it was on 10man or 25man and was it normal or heroic

I have done all of the bosses except Ragnaros on NORMAL (we managed to get Ragnaros to sub 30% in our last raid). I have also completed Magmaw on Heroic. These were all done in 10 mans.

What previous raid experience do you have on this char? Please only mention stuff you did at the time when it was a current raid, we dont need to know you can clear black temple when you are level 85.

To be honest my raiding experience has been varied. I am a player who started playing very much so in the WotLK expansion so most of my raiding would have been done in ICC. However, even though I have not got the greatest "raid experience" I managed to raid consistently and to the top of my level. Proof being I got accepted into The Wanderers on Steamwheedle Cartel and then Resurrection on the Horde (both top level guilds on Alliance/Horde on the server) at the time. The reason for my guild swapping and consequently faction changing was simply a thirst for a better gaming experience. This is one factor of me wanting to realm transfer as I know I need to surround myself with similar minded people to succeed.

What do you think YOUR responsibilities are in a raid? :
Give a original answer here, saying to buff and dps/heal/tank isnt really worth mentioning

My responsibility is to destroy my enemy and maximise my DPS as well as being situationally aware as to not take unnecessary damage. I will look out for any opportunity within my movement to tweak more DPS making sure I am within range of my healers and overall objective requirements. I will also assess peoples health and hit Rallying Cry if my healers require it. I also have a responsibility to monitor my own health in order to help my healers so I will utilise Enraged Regeneration and Victory Rush if they are proc'd. I bring 5% extra crit to the raid as default and provide extra strength, agility or extra stamina depending on our composition.

How would you feel if you were asked to respec by the guild or by your class leader to either help guild or improve your dps/healing/tanking?
We dont mean we will ask a healer to go DPS, we mean if if we think your points could be spent better.

I would be open to any suggestion that my spec may need to change but like I said before I take a lot of time to spec/gear my warrior in order to optimise him. Different ideas are always good though so yes a thumbs up from me.

What is your Spell Rotation ?

My rotation for TG Fury is open typically with a Battle shout for rage and 10% buff, walk in with the tank to avoid losing rage with Intercept, Collossus smash, Bloodthirst, Raging Blow, Bloodthirst and favouring slam when both RB and BT are on CD or when I have used BT and I can not be enraged for RB. I also HC strike at rage above 70. Battle shout is also used when I can to align it with a CS. I will also use Inner Rage to get a quick HC strike off when incite procs (HC strike being off the GCD) or Battle Trance procs.

For AoE I will carry out a normal rotation and periodically in my free GCDs hit for cleave and whirlwind when there are sufficient mobs. Inner rage will be used here as it decreases the GCD of cleave so as to increase the amount of cleavage I get.

For the last 20% (Execution phase) I will get 5 stacks of Executioner and then carry out my normal rotation of BT-RB-BT priotising CS if it is off CD and HC strike within the Executioner phase if the time allows for it. I will refresh Executioner as a priority to avoid it losing me the haste buff.

Also Post a UI Screen Shot (this is so we know how you see whats around you)

Here is a shot of me in the daily zone. I recently changed realm so am in the process of revamping my UI. I like to keep things simple and I do not like too much clutter.

I also link a PvP video I made when Warriors were awesome for PvP (still awesome now )

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HREgbx2UV6Y

And Post atleast a 3 min WWS or WMO Report on Test Dummie(Dps only)

This was our kill of Majordomo

http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/rt-x5wp6600pu8pzqby/sum/damageDone/?s=5&e=408

This was with two 359 weapons and now I am noticeably better geared so I should hit much better numbers.

Age: 23

Country: UK

Why did you choose to apply to this guild in particular?

First of all I like the name! I expect Cerebral to offer me a supportive environment and one in which skilled, progressive raiding priority is of the utmost. I would also expect a strong social aspect within the guild and one where something is always happening. I want to be able to make friends quickly...ultimately an environment of mutual respect. From the research I have done it seems you offer this and hence reason for my application.

Players you know / How did you come across us?

Xtyz was very polite in accomodating our questions and directed us to an application so Thank You.

Alts and Level (if any):

http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/steamwheedle-cartel/Lorraina/simple

Pure tank in full heirloom as I do not get to tank with Sikk.

Are you or any of your alts currently guilded?: This levelling tank is on my old server in my first ever guild.

Did you read our Rules & Policies? YES max first aid FTW!

What days can you play and what hours during those days (Please let us know now so no confusion is caused if you were to be accepted)?:
(Members are required to be available for raiding at least 3/4 nights week, from 20.00 - 11.30 server time or later) Raid days are Sun-Thur Fri - SAt are Optional which we try to do 10 mans.

I am available for most raid nights so this is not a problem.

Previous online gaming experience (if any):

N/A I've only really played WoW as my MMO.

Anything else you'd like to include about yourself:

To sum it up, I have had a real lack of 25 man raiding (one guild) and am really wanting to be a part of a big raid group. 10 man is nice but 25 is a whole new experience for me and one I wish to thrive in. I heard about the guild from a bit of MMO CHAMPION advertising and scouting your kills in WoL and armory.

I look forward to this challenge and meeting some new people.

I have fully understood that Cerebral is a raiding guild, whom raid very much - and expect the applicants to raid with us for progress.

I swear that the information I posted in this application is 100% true.
