525 Alchemy - more agi from flask and I am a potion master (I chose potion master because I use a lot of pots when I progress)
525 Engineering - gloves enchant for agi use-effect, shield absorb (personal CD) on belt and the more or less useless parachute. I do, however, also have Jeeves & Mole-E (portable mailbox).

What Elixirs/Flasks/Buff food do you use in raids to boost your performance?
I always use Wind flask (+300 agi - unless there's a cauldron), I eat agi food (if there are no feasts), and I use Potion of Tol'vir (+1200 agi for 25 sec during my most efficient Vendetta on a progression fight. I can use about 50 of these on a long night).

Desribe what you think you would bring to our guild if accepted. (raiding and social aspects)
I would bring some casual fun into serious raiding. I enjoy talking about anything and nothing whilst raiding seriously. (I do however focus on the fights >_>)
I also believe that I would bring alot of overall knowledge about the different classes and roles. I have played many different classes through the years. I have also played at 2.6k Arena Rating on my paladin; forcing me to learn the abilities of my opponents. I would therefore say I know quite alot about any class.
And how exactly does that improve your raiding?
Well - it helps me in panic/unusual situations. You will during a content of progression run into some weird tries. And sometimes it is very important to know that I can call for a warrior to use heroic throw on the meteor on Ragnaros if I need it of me but don't have time to stop and do a throw. Little things like that - or to know that a priest can grib me away from danger.

Previous Guilds: Stelth Kilers, eHEROES (Thunderhorn-EU)

Reason for Leaving: Let's start with eHEROES. My rogue has been my main in periods - while my paladin has been for the rest of the time. In last content I started on my rogue with some friends doing casual raiding. But after a short while I got bored. I used to raid seriously back in ICC having 12/12 hc on my paladin and 11/12 hc on my rogue. Simultaniously.
So I decided to try something harder. I got into Stelth Kilers 'cause I had a mate there who knew that despite of my crap gear I was a good player that was worth recruiting. They didn't have an active rogue spot at the time and after a while I decided I cba to wait that long for a raid spot. So I rejoined my old guild on my paladin. My gear was once again outdated (I had switched 'main' again) but they took me in 'cause they knew that I am a good player. I progressed with them (eHEROES) to 12/12 last content and started FL with them as well.. On August 22 we killed Majordomo Loothelm for the first time on heroic difficulty. Which is not far before I quit WoW (less than 2 months ago).
Now I am back (already) and I lust for raiding. I do however lust for raiding on my rogue, because I find it more entertaining.

When did you start this character and how long have you /played ?
I started my rogue back in TBC but never bothered leveling it. It finally hit max level for the first time (80) late in Wrath - after the release of ICC actually - and I realized that I enjoyed playing rogue. I focused mainly on PvP then and did get 2.2k on it (my alt) before season end.
Today my rogue only has 41 days /played. My paladin, however, has 137, my warrior 103, and my druid 114. I have played since Vanilla.

What encounters and raids have you experienced in Cataclysm? Please state if it was on 10man or 25man and was it normal or heroic
I used to raid 25man back in Wrath and I miss it so. I have only done a bit of 25man in Cata - BoT once at the release of cata.
I have cleared 12/12 T11 heroic content and 6/7 FL on 10man. I killed Loothelm on August 22 (as mentioned above) and quit PvE after our 2nd kill.

I used to have a few top 25 world rank for holy paladin 10man. Top 7 on Beth was the best I had. Those are probably outdated now - (the WoLs are expired - just tried to find them). But if you want to know further about that you can contact Elirion/ Hurdina my former GM(s) in eHEROES on Thunderhorn-EU.

To be honest with you I got bored of 10man. It's too simple and too much RNG as well (if you ask me). I just want to go back to 25man.

What previous raid experience do you have on this char? Please only mention stuff you did at the time when it was a current raid, we dont need to know you can clear black temple when you are level 85.
I did ToC HC10 with 40+ attempts left several times back in ToC. I did not raid much in Ulduar times - but I did kill Yogg on both 10 and 25 man difficulty. In ICC I progressed with a few different guilds on normal and then took a break (story of my life.. I get bored of playing with baddies and then I give up on PvE and start PvPing instead.. Which is why despite of my rogue's current gear and progress I ambitiously reply to a 6/7 hc guild - I need someone that I believe are at my level)
I killed LK and Halion on 10man hc, while we struggled alot with them on 25man. I progressed both and wiped both in last phase, but never got a kill. Our guild kinda had these 15 good players and 10 noobs, but you probably feel the same way (it is the most common problem in 25man guilds).

What do you think YOUR responsibilities are in a raid? :

This is a brilliant question. I think it is my responsibility to do something unexpected. Like saving my vanish for that FUCKED UP transition where the adds are just all wrong on Raggy hc and be able to vanish and Cheap Shot an add to win time. Instead of mindlessly blowing it in P1 for more damage. I believe that the little things like that make the entire difference. Obviously I have not done 100% uptimal dps. But the loss is not crucial compared to an add going through to the hammer Wink

What is your Spell Rotation?
My standard rotation is the socalled faceroll one of an assasination rogue. But to illustrate I will explain how I open on a target.
I sprint in to maximize uptime on my dps.
I garrote if possible, else I open with Mutilate.
I then build up to minimum 4 CPs and Rupture.
Sometimes here you get lucky and get 1 CP from using Rupture and I'll use it on Slice and Dice. If not I'll Mutilate once and get SnD up.
I then build up to minimum 4 CPs and Envenom.

That is the faceroll standards. But there are a few things that are important to take into consideration.
In example: Having Rupture up constantly is more important than building up CPs before firing off your Rupture. This is because the damage of Rupture is slighty irrelevant. It is the energy ticks and poision chance-on-hit that are the important factors of keeping up Rupture. Therefore I will sometimes Rupture at 2 or 3 CPs if I don't have energy to build up 4-5 CPs. 1 second of Rupture downtime is a bigger DPS loss than not building it up.
Another thing: When I Envenom I always (as a guideline) have between 80 and 90 energy. Making it possible to Mutilate twice before the Envenom buff fades. To maximize damage from Instant Poison (Number ONE damage component of an Assasination Rogue)

It always seems so small when on screenshots >_> I run with a rather big widescreen so it's not so tight on the 'real screen'.
This shows my UI without showing visable DBM timers, though. I keep those in the upper left and then they move in towards the top-left center of my screen when they are about to happen. It also shows my dps on Baleroc in a PuG I did the other day. It is not amazing, but I was quite happy with it - looking at my gear and considering it was 10man, and a PuG.

And Post atleast a 3 min WWS or WMO Report on Test Dummie(Dps only)

Like I said I can't find any recent WoLs because I haven't played for almost 2 months. I did however use to have some top 25 world ranks and most of our kills was at least always top 200 - lol.
My rogue has no WoLs since I haven't raided very seriously on it in Cata. But you can look at the dps above for a bit of taste.

I do not use oRA3, but I can get it if is crucially necessary. I of course use DBM and Omen.

I also use HealBot as standard raid frames. A lot of people hate HealBot... but it has some good factors in it. It can track threat through the Blizzard system, it shows who has aggro, and you can set hotkeys for clicks it in. I use this to Tricks and/or to change Focus Target for the purpose of Tricks'ing.

Do you have a microphone & Ventrilo installed?
Yes I do not hesitate to use my mic.. It is a very important tool for raiding.. And yes I do have VT, TS and Mumble on my computer Wink

Let me put it this way: I study at college in my normal life and I have got the highest possible grade in oral English since I started 2 years ago.

Why did you choose to apply to this guild in particular? My rogue is currently on Kazzak and you are the guild that suit my free nights best. Your raid times are good for me while I need a guild that starts raids at 20.00 and then it is ultimally uptimal that you don't end at midnight but a bit before - which means that when raid extends a try or two it doesn't get too late in the every days.
I did not apply to a 7/7 guild 'cause I want to be able to prove to you that I am a player who's capable of progressing and killing Ragnaros heroic - also I haven't killed him before myself. I generally want a 6/7 guild because then I can prove that I am there to progress - especially in the future.

Players you know / How did you come across us?
To be honest I checked WoWProgress for 6/7 guilds on Kazzak and looked at the raid times on the different guilds - you were the perfect one - which is why I am trying to write a socalled exceptional application despite of lack of gear and active rogue recruitment.

Alts and Level (if any):
I got my paladin, which is obviously level 85. But I also have a 85 Druid, 85 Warior, 85 Mage, and 85 Hunter.

Are you or any of your alts currently guilded?:
At the moment I am in Moo Tang Clan because I needed some kind of guild. My 2.2k Arena Achievement gave me instant access. I don't actually socialize or play with the guys in the guild. Most of them are braindead trolls who think they are Gladiators.

Did you read our Rules & Policies?
Yes I did. You said it was a requirement before even applying.

What days can you play and what hours during those days (Please let us know now so no confusion is caused if you were to be accepted)?:
(Members are required to be available for raiding at least 3/5 nights week with higher attendance prefered.) Raid days are Sun-Thur, 2000-2330 server time we do occasionaly stay later if we are close to a kill. Fri & Sat are off nights but if people are online we try to do alt runs or RBG's.
I am still young. 18 - lol. Which means I like to go to parties/ drink a few beers with my bros in the Fridays & Sats. The rest of the week I am a nerd who games all night anyway Wink

It also happens that I am home gaming on Fridays and Sats and I love doing alt runs - currently I do not have any alts on Kazzak at lvl 85, but hey it's more the point about having fun and socializing!

Previous online gaming experience (if any):
I have played CS 1.6 at a semi high level. Attended a few online tournaments for that actually. But I wasn't very old so it never got serious. My brother played for Nihilium - the CS section as a pro CS gamer.
I have always played WC3 (DOTA!) and tower wars and stuff Razz

I have through a lot of WoW time prefered PvP because I think it is more challenging when you can't predict your enemy in the same way that you can in PvE. (I do not underestimate the difficulty of PvE - don't get me wrong!). But now after Blizzard completely ruined PvP I will no longer focus on a mixture of PvP and PvE, but instead PvE - fully.

Anything else you'd like to include about yourself:
Yeah well... I play assasination even though I should probably be combat for max dps. I do not have viable combat weapons but I am willing to respec once I obtain some. I am generally willing to respec for my raid. I am currently specced to sometimes proccing Crippling poison on the application of instant poison. That is useful for 5 and 10 man which is what I mostly do atm without a raiding guild. I would most likely respec that to have 1 in Deadened Nerves (3% less damage taken) to help out healers overall.

I have already spoken a lot about my PvP experience and how I believe it helps me. Else I would have normally filled that into here. I could however round it up (and off) by saying:

Druid 2.2k 2v2, 2k 3v3
Warrior 2k 5v5
Mage 2k 2v2

I have been around the different classes and I understand how most of them work. Down into details. I know that I on my paladin can BoP (Hand of Protection) an arcane mage who has gone over on aggro with images up but still has mana to burn on AB spam before having the Evo back up. I know that I can then BoP so he can cast the last 4-6 ABs and THEN invis. This comes in handy on Sinestra ie. And there are more examples like that. I think you know where I am going. WoW is not about individual performences but the SYNERGY in the team/ raid!

Like I also mentioned in my application I have quit PvP.. My focus hasn't been on PvP for a few months soon. I only just started again because I felt the lust for raiding..

Surely I wouldn't mind getting a legendary dagger.. But to be fair.. First of all you probably have 1 (if not 2) core rogues that are to get that before me.. And even then it's not going to be an actual topic till before a month from now.. And most guilds do keep their trial period to less than a month.. I mean.. 'All' I am asking for is for you guys to try me out. Which I what I wrote - despite of lack of gear and progress on my rogue.

If I am a loot whorish cunt, kick me.. If I have a bad attitude, kick me.. If I don't do enough dps, kick me.. Those are viable factors to being part of a raiding guild and I believe that I can fit them - if you let me Wink

Also I could apply to a guild that fits the progress and gear of my rogue.. But yeah.. I think I was over that in my application - I ambitiously aim higher because I believe I fit a higher level.. To be fair I probably wouldn't apply to a 6/7 guild on my paladin taking it I just got an offer to rejoin my old guild on that (7/7).. Yet I let it down because I want to play my rogue.

I mean I even started farming gear the best I could.. If you look at my news feed on the armory you can see that I got trinket, gloves, legs, back, bracer, ring and I am gathering mats for the crafted boots

gear is rly bad, there are some easy upgrades u missing
ur cloak enchant is abit tricky u need to check a spreadsheet if uusing any cuz it might be bis to use 65 crit ( has more ep when u have tier bonuses )

First of all I do not click tricks.. You can also see that it is bound to shift+F on the screen shot Razz

I do keep smoke bomb on shift+3 atm cause I got no use-effect trinket.. Normally I'd use that spot for use-effect.. Remember that while guildless I have been playing a mixture of PvE and PvP Wink

Also.. Only the first few bottons change when I go into stealth/ don't.. I keep kidney shot on 1 (it is an easily available button, yet not one good for spamming), Mutilate on 2, Envenom on 3 and kick on 4.. I keep Backstab on 5 and my Gloves Engineering use-effect on 6.. After that it's the same in stealth (on the screen shot)
And for the matter of macroes (you seem to not understand how I tricks/ macro my things) I have a focus target tricks macro, startattack in both Mutilate, Backstab, and FoK, Vanish+Garrote, and then I do have some others but those are only for PvP.. Except focus kick which is also used for both on some encounters ^^

And to be fair I haven't changed my main that many times.. I have always kept my rogue just under my paladins standards and tried the best I could to find time to raid on it/ gear it when it was possible.. I only decided to try it out for main at the start of cata.. And when that didn't work (Stelth Kilers didn't have an open spot) I went back to my paladin.. Now after having taken a break I want to try out getting my rogue up running as main..
And the pvp rating does not have a massive influence.. But averagely I believe that a high pvp experience means that you have a functional brain.. I do however know that there are exceptions to this.. - I know several high end pvp'ers who can barely do 15k dps....

Also for the cloak enchant.. I've heard that the difference between the 65 crit and 22agi was less than 5 dps.. And most people told me not to get it unless I got cape from Rhyo..

Oh and yeah.. For the upgrades? I've been capping valor now and trying to gear up.. I bought the crafted boots and I'm not sure what more you want me to do? Razz

I am trying to uptimize as best as possible.. I even PuG'd FL for a few tries on HC - and I hate wiping in PuGs but I know that it is a necessity to gear up as best as possible.. Especially when you take my current gear into consideration.. I do not believe that it is a matter of gear though, but more likely to see if I am a player capable of fitting into the raid group, using my brain to execute tacts, and showing that I am a loyal player who shows for raids and wipes for hours and hours, and weeks, and months on the same boss just to see the slight bit of progress

Only then is gear of importance - imo

It is usually never a problem... I don't believe it's a matter of where my keybinds are, but how well I play with where I actually put them..

And yes 5 is fine and it fits the Envenom on 3 fine for me..

For the matter of enchants I would of course enchant it properly if they were good pieces.. But the gear I got at the moment are not good pieces - the gloves I got are not good (considering I need tier), and the chest is 359..

I am nearly honored for belt at AoH

I use ReforgeLite for reforging - it calculates on stats weights to tell how to uptimally only just go past the 17% spell hit and maximize mastery at the same time.. But it might not be flawless..

And for the matter of gold I had 13k the other day.. But they go fast when you have to gear up partially by buying upgrades... I am going down in gold and it's not all that easy keeping it up when you only have 1 char on the server Wink

I think it's about time for me to have an input to this.

Gear and everything has already been gone over by others. As noted it is a bit low but I can see you are doing your best to upgrade. On the subject of enchants, I would be willing to let a few things slide until you have upgrades worth putting top end enchants on. I'm not sure how others will feel.

About the app overall and your replies to the questions asked, well let me put it this way you would already have been accepted if there wasn't the overhanging question of your intentions. As Celoza said alarm bells are ringing over whether all you really want is a fast gear up and a possible chance at the legendary daggers(which ofc are top of every pvp rogues wishlist for next patch). Unfortunately there is no simple way to measure someones intentions, so all we have to go on is your word.

That's it for me from the inside looking out, now let me tell you a little about the group you would be joining if you were to be accepted. If you were accepted you would be joining an already quite full and very competitive melee group. We have 2 dps warriors, 2 enh shammys, 1 ret, 1 rogue and 1 ms dk with 2 os dk's all fighting for raid spots. All of the ms melee dps know what they are doing and I would definitely say that our melee group is probably the hardest group in guild to force your way into.

The last thing I would like to say is that even though we only have 1 ms rogue atm, there are 2 other rogues that have been shifted off of those characters for the benefit of the raid group. Those guys are currently next in line for the legendary daggers as it is only right that we try and repay them by making sure they don't miss out on the chance of the legendarys simply because they were willing to help the guild out.

I'll leave it there for now. I'm sure Crabby will be back along here soon to give a final answer.

Like I said.. I do expect that you have at least one or two that are getting legendary before it could ever come to question whether I should have it or not.. Therefore the legendary dagger is none of my concern at the moment.. I'd just love to prove that I am loyal player who shows for raids and is worth keeping for the future in which we will/can be progressing together towards server ranks Smile
