Character Details
-----------------------------------
Character Name: Neurotop
Class: Paladin
Level: 90
(Provide us with a link to your profile in the Armory): http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/kazzak/Neurotop/advanced
Professions and Skill Level:
Alchemy/ Jewelcrafting, both maxed out, also Cooking at maximized level with all kinds of noodle carts if needed.
What Elixirs/Flasks/Buff food do you use in raids to boost your performance?
I use “Flask of the Warm Sun” and “Mogu Fish Stew” (both increasing my intellect). I tend to use “Alchemist Rejuvenation”/ “Potion of Focus” for mana gain during raids.
Describe what you think you would bring to our guild if accepted. (raiding and social aspects)
After 6 years of playing this game (and 3 years of playing paladin) I know my class inside out, however in always changing environment there is still room for self- improvement and learning. I can contribute my devotion towards this game and willingness to be a part of the team.

Character History
-----------------------------------
Previous Guilds: Most notable guilds on Kazzak realm were “Progress Denied” with whom I cleared 8 HC bosses in SoO and “Oni”.
Reason for Leaving:
I left “Progress Denied” due to terrible atmosphere in the guild and lack of social aspect of the being there. “Oni” on the other hand is great guild when it comes to socializing, however after fail attempt to convert to 25 man raiding team I found myself without opportunity to raid with them (no spot available for healer).
When did you start this character and how long have you /played?
I’ve started playing this character at the very end of “The Wrath of the Lich King” expansion set. Total time played: 145 days, 12 hours, 35 minutes, 2 seconds with 54 days, 19 hours, 18 minutes, 0 seconds on level 90.
What encounters and raids have you experienced in Mists of Pandaria? Please state if it was on 10man or 25man and was it normal or heroic.
My current experience in Siege of Orgimmar is 8 HC bosses killed in 10 man mode (with first 3 bosses killed on heroic in 25 man mode as well). Previous content in “Mists of Pandaria” was cleared mostly in 10 mean mode in normal difficulty.
What previous raid experience (Vanilla, TBC, WoLK, Cata) do you have on this char?
I started playing during “The Burning Crusade” era, however I wasn’t playing holy paladin at that time. I rolled this character at the end of “Wrath of the Lich King” when I needed something refreshing and brand new. Playing this character really fits me and I fell like I found my very own class in WoW that matches my play style.
In “Cataclysm” I’ve cleared almost all of the bosses in “Bastion of Twilight” (2/5 HC), “Blackwing Descent” (5/6 HC) and “Throne of the Four Winds” (1/2 HC). Due to struggle to find good guild willing to take me as holy paladin on Silvermoon server (I was rolling Alliance back then) I took more casual approach towards the game and cleared the remaining content on normal difficulty.
What do you think YOUR responsibilities are in a raid? :
Holy paladin brings variety of tools to keep the allies alive even through the most difficult situations. With “Hand” spells (VERY useful with “Clemency” talent), raid damage reduction with “Devotion Aura”, great amount of healing both single target and AoE healing.
What is your Spell Rotation/Priority ?
The thing with healing is you have to be flexible and accommodate to always varying situations, there is no “rotation” when it comes to healing, however we might consider what tools fit the certain situations best.
For low/ medium tank damage I will use “Holy Light”/ “Holy Shock” with spot healing with “Eternal Flame”.
For heavy tank damage I will replace “Holy Light” with “Divine Light” (and perhaps “Flash of Light” when absolutely necessary).
When it comes to AoE healing 2x “Holy Radiance” followed by “Holy Shock” for “Daybreak” proc. I prefer to heal with “Eternal Flame” instead of “Light of Dawn” for several factors (it heals more, transfers better to Beacon of Light).
Why have you chosen to reforge, gem and enchant the way you have? Give a brief description on why particular stats are good for your class/spec.
My stat priority is:
Intellect> Spirit (until I feel comfortable with mana regen, which is around 15k spirit) > Haste (until 7170 breakpoint)> Mastery > Crit > Haste
It’s based on common sense and tons of guides I’ve read about (including icy-veins and askmrrobot.com). Intellect is my priority as “Eternal Flame” which is my main heal doesn’t benefit from mastery when it comes to HoT and it increases my SP (I’m healing more) as well as my critical strike. Haste is mainly used for extra ticks of “Eternal Flame” (7170 breakpoint gives me +3 extra ticks of this spell with raid/ self buffs).

Provide a relevant World of Logs report from your past guild/raid.
I'm sorry, but I don't have any current heroic log, since my previous guild (Oni) haven't used one. However I made some from LFR run recently, if you want to have glimpse of what I can do:

Do you have oRA3 Deadly Boss Mods and OMEN ?
Yes, I have them installed.
Please list any other addons you use to help you raid.
Apart from addons mentioned above I use:
- Grid (heavily modified with additional functionality showing variety of debuffs on my frames)
- Power Auras Classic (call me out-of-date, but I just couldn’t get used to Weak Auras UI)
- Shadowed Unit Frames (the best option to replace default Blizzard frames)
- IceHud (for holy power display)
Do you have a microphone & Ventrilo installed?
Yes, I have them both, I can talk on Vent, however I’m not spammy and like to stay silent doing my job/ following instructions.
Describe your skills in spoken English:
Perhaps not very fluent, but more than enough to communicate without many problems.
What's your connection & computer hardware?
My connection:

I use my laptop with i5 processor, 12 GB RAM and 2 GB Graphics Card giving me around 35 fps during heavy spell intense 25 man raid and around 90 fps in other areas.

Why did you choose to apply to this guild in particular?
I want to try something new and I hope “Cerebral” will be the good place to call home. I want to raid at the highest level and it seems that your guild can provide that.
Players you know / How did you come across us?
I found you guys on wowprogress.com.
Alts and Level (if any):
I have several high level alts, but none of them is worth mentioning.
Are you or any of your alts currently guilded?:
I’m currently guildless and my alts are in social/perk guilds.
Did you read our Rules & Policies?
Yes and I accept them.
What days can you play and what hours during those days (Please let us know now so no confusion is caused if you were to be accepted)?:
I will be able to participate in almost every raid, however due to my line of work I might not be able to join some raids during Sunday, but when it comes to raiding during week days I will be able to join all of them.
Previous online gaming experience (if any):
WoW is my first and only MMORPG game.
Anything else you'd like to include about yourself:
I hope I will be valuable asset to your fine guild if you decide to accept my application and I’d like to thank you in advance for considering me. Anyway, see you in game. |
