Character Name:
Chauling

Class:
Monk

Level:
90

(Provide us with a link to your profile in the Armory):

Professions and Skill Level:
Using inscription and tailoring, at this point.

What Elixirs/Flasks/Buff food do you use in raids to boost your performance?
Usually use feasts, since that's what our guild has been providing previously but otherwise I use Valley Stir Fry (275+ agility), Flask of Spring Blossoms (1k agility boost) and Virmen's Bite (4k agility pot).

Describe what you think you would bring to our guild if accepted. (raiding and social aspects)
I'd say I'm a fairly good WW monk with a high raid-awareness. I generally enjoy the social aspect of raiding, joking a bit around while still trying to be serious when it comes to downing the content. I'm very much into doing achievements, happily doing the same achievements over again if someone else needs them and doing old content for pretty much any reason I can get away with. I try to keep up with the latest patch changes; doing a bit of theorycrafting, looking at websites and stuff. I like knowing my class.

-----------------------------------
Character History
-----------------------------------
Previous Guilds:
Calming Storm (Same as Hexinky and Nidhhogg)

Reason for Leaving:
I had a slight disagreement with old guild leader, telling me I'm a jerk for cancelling a raid under 24 hrs before schedueled raid start (was 22 hrs before), because I was at the hospital, visiting a mate going into surgery and forgetting to unsign.

When did you start this character and how long have you /played?
I started this monk at the start of very start of MoP and spent 3 days (2 days, 4 hrs playtime) to get to 1-90. Currently on 22 days total played, most of the time spent on professions and achievements.

What encounters and raids have you experienced in Mists of Pandaria?
I never raided anything but 10 man in MoP and so far have been downed 5/6 hc MSV and 1/6 hc HoF with no recent attempts at any heroic bosses beyond MSV.

What previous raid experience (Vanilla, TBC, WoLK, Cata) do you have on this char?
TBC: Was stuck in a small guild on Zenedar in TBC, getting no further than Karazhan, not downing last boss till the nerf hit after which we also killed Zul'aman with some effort.
Wrath: Still stuck in the same guild, we barely got into Naxxramas before I had enough, changing to another server with some mates and immediately taking a break after that and came back in the middle of TotC, only clearing normal with Calming Storm (the guild which I came from). Still sticking, we moved onto doing ICC 12/13 hc 10 man and doing the occasional 25-man raids, never progressing far. Guild split in two at the end, me joining what was supposed to be the "pro" group, Reboot, thinking Calming Storm would die.
Cata: Another bad hit for progression, as Reboot barely cleared any content (not even doing all bosses normal 4.0), changing mid Firelands back to Calming Storm as it sprang back to life. After that cleared all content on heroic from there at level.

What do you think YOUR responsibilities are in a raid? :
I think my responsibility is to call out bad shit on myself if needed, quickly thinking how to adjust accordingly if something goes wrong instead of waiting for order (should it be obvious) and generally just keeping an eye out for bad shit people might be prone to miss.

What is your Spell Rotation ?
FSK-> Jab -> RSK -> TP -> Jab -> Jab -> BoK -> FoF -> RSK -> Prio list (FoF>RSK>TP (if buff off)>BoK>FSK if energy-less, if appropriate).

Why have you chosen to reforge, gem and enchant the way you have? Give a brief description on why particular stats are good for your class/spec.
5.0: Agility>Hit/Expertise cap>Crit>Haste>Mastery
The first two gives themselves. Crit is a flat DPS boost, making me do double damage. Haste gives me faster hits and energy regen but due to Energizing Brew, it's not as desirable. Mastery gives free TP/BoK but with enough haste, it's mostly obsolete.

Also Post a UI Screen Shot (this is so we know how you see what's around you)

Post a World of Logs report from your past guild or a 3 minute DPS report on the training dummies:
Can't get WoL working on dummies, so I'll just post my Recount results:

Duration: 3 minutes, 14 seconds.
DPS: 68,8k.

Technical Information
-----------------------------------

Do you have oRA3 Deadly Boss Mods and OMEN ?
I've haven't used DBM since ICC and I honestly haven't been missing it (I think Nidhhogg can stand in for that). I'll of course install it if needed. Got the rest.

Please list any other add ons you use to help you raid.
I don't really use any raid-enhancing addons. I'm a bit anti-addon-ish. I'll install the appropriate addons if there's no way around it, of course.

Do you have a microphone & Ventrilo installed?
I think I have every voice program there is, so yes.

Describe your skills in spoken English:
Studying English on a semi-high level and I don't think I've ever had problems with people understanding me. Though, I prefer to not speak if it can helped.

What's your connection & computer hardware?
Wired 20 Mbit with a dualcore intel 2.8 GHz processor.

General Information
-----------------------------------

Age:
19

Country:
Denmark

Why did you choose to apply to this guild in particular?
I heard good things about you from Hexinky and I really appreciate raiding. I was also lacking a social aspect of our 10-man, very core-fixated guild so...

Players you know / How did you come across us?
Nidhhogg and Hexinky.

Alts and Level (if any):
I've got a level 90 shaman and everything but warlock at 85, though none of them are getting much interest.

Are you or any of your alts currently guilded?:
I'm guilded with a social guild with my shaman, though I do not have the funds to transfer more than one character.

Did you read our Rules & Policies?
Yes, I did.

What days can you play and what hours during those days (Please let us know now so no confusion is caused if you were to be accepted)?:
I can play pretty much every day of the week but Thursday. Do note that March the 6th/10th I won't be available due to planning social events before I heard of this guild.

Previous online gaming experience (if any):
Played since TBC on my shaman (read previous exp). No other games much.

Anything else you'd like to include about yourself:
I am diabetic but has never caused any problems which couldn't be fixed during an eventual bio break.[/img]
