Introduction

Hello,

My name is Sami, I'm 23. I study business at the Canadian university. I work in an Hotel wich is 15 mins away from home. In my spere time i play wow & other online games such as Dota 1 & Dota 2, LOL. HON etc by my focus has always been on Wow of course.

World of Warcraft History

I might not have the most impressive history of mankind, but I don't live in the past I live in the current.

Vanilla

Didn't get to play Vanilla so I have no history from that expansion.

The Burning Crusade

Now I started playing World of Warcraft during the last few weeks of TBC and didn't get past level 70 til Wrath of the Lich King was released so this expansion was irrelevant for me.

Wrath of the Lich King

Now this is where I started to learn about what WoW PVE was all about.

Start of the Expansion:

I started the expansion as a warlock first known as 'Dancyfancy' I started this character on the realm US-Spinebreaker since that's where my friends were located when I first started playing. Worked myself through Naxxramas, Eye of Eternity and Obsidium Sanctum with a guild called last order, we weren't even slightly Hard Core but I was still happy since I was just starting my long long PVE 'career'. I raided through out the first couple of raid til Ulduar was release, 3 or 4 weeks before Ulduar was released my GM just stopped coming online, no one heard of him and nothing happened for 2 weeks so people started to leave so the guild disbanded.

Ulduar:

I didn't raid anything during Ulduar because I had a hard time getting to know people and I was still a 'scrub' so people didn't really want me in any guild, which ended up with me taking a small break.

Trial of the Grand Crusade:

When TotGC came out me and my friends decided that we wanted to go move to a more populated realm, on Eu servers since they used to raid at 4:00 am wich started to be so annoying for them at that point so we searched for about a week until we decided to go to Kazzak. There i started leveling a paladin since i was told by my friends that its easier then a warlock, so i started this toon on Alliance kazzak.

Icecrown Citadel:

This is where I started to first experience raiding on a higher level. I managed to clear Toc on normal mode. Pugs on Kazzak have always been quite good, and my friend had always been better than me so I guess that you could say that I got boosted.I was puging icc on every reset on 25 man where i managed to kill 10 bosses with gunship hc. Kept doing same thing for a period of time until i found a 10 man guild that came from another server and was recruiting a plate dps. I can't even remember the guild name because the name was so bullshit but what i can remember is that i cleared 12/12 with them and got my King slayer title. Few weeks ago my GM got married and stopped playing so guild disbanded and i had to look for a new guild. I joined a guild called Softcore and i killed 8/12 hc with them missing professor Putricide , Dreamwalker, Sindagoza and LK. After that it was all about preparing for Cataclysm.

Cataclysm:

BwD / Tot4W and BoT:

We started here with BwD and Bot ignoring Tot4W. Our GM here slacked hard and stopped to show up on raids after the first two weeks. He was just updating forums and replying to applications. Our hunter officer, wich was a girl started to lead raids and we managed to clear Bot and 5/6 Bwd while kept wiping on Nefarian on 20 or 10% every single time due to adds tanks death.

Firelands:

Same day firelands came out we managed to kill Nefarian and nothing more then that since people started to slack and take a break. No raids was up for a whole month so i took a break to and then came back to look for my new guild wich was Semper-Fi, but this time 25 man guild. With Semper-Fi we managed to kill 7/7 & 2/7 hc before alliance kazzak started to die very fast and recruitment was impossible at that point. When DS came out guild decided to change server and went to a high populated server by Alliance. But due to ecomomic reasons at that point i couldn't go with them.

Dragon Soul:

After a while I changed faction and joined the horde club. I cleared 8/8 normal in my 1st week on horde side with a pug. Next day i joined a guild called Supreme wich i didnt knew that it was consisting of persian people. I was the only non-persian guy in that guild.I raided with them about 4-5 weeks, then i coudn't take it anymore. Talking strange lauguage for the whole 12 hours per week was really annoying . After that i joined a guild called Senseless, there i cleared 4/8 hc Prenerf with warlord on 5%. But due to Gm / Officer conflict who was the Raid leader, it ended up that officer/RL leaves the guild and form his own guild with some of his real life friends who left with him. So Senseless disbanded at that point so i took few weeks of break. At 15% i came back and joined a guild called Ice with 6/8 hc progression. I progressed spine and madness with them for around 1 month before we managed to kill them. Two weeks later officers decided to take a long break till MOP since for them expansion was over and they need to rest after all the hard work they did, leaving people behind wich ended up to a cluch between raiders and some of them to leave. As for me i didn't leave at start but since i wanted to keep raiding and asked at the same time to join a guild called Authority with some of my real life friends. Goal was to help this guild to kill 8 hc since they was stuck on 6 hc that time. Two or three weeks later Authority got 8/8 hc & we started to farm it every week.

Mist of Pandaria:

Mogu'shan Vaults:

Managed to clear 6/6 normal in 25 man at start & 5/6 hc later on, not much to say in this raid, actually i didn't like it at all.

Heat of Fear:

This raid was more interesting for me i can say, i liked the most the first four bosses. Cleared it on normal with Imperial, Blade lord & Windlord on hc mode. 6/6 normal 4/6 hc.

Terrace of Endless Spring:

Cleared it on normal aswell, no experience in hc mode, but i do know hc tacts for the first 3 bosses after i wasted alot of time watching some streams & video's. Still didn't bother to watch Sha of Fear video & will not until it's the time.

WhyCerebral?:

Cerebral is a known guild on kazzak with a very high standard of reputaion. I am looking into the guild abit more seriously - I do believe that you guys are exactly what I am looking for. I like people who focus always and give what they can and who seek progress. .

What can Cerabral expect from me?:

A skilled Paladin that loves to raid. I am always prepared for the worst, even if it means wiping on a boss for 5 straight hours - it doesn't concern me, because that's what a guild does.
I consider myself being somewhat socially active, tho I tend to have a bit of a foul side of joking around a lot - this is a habit that I am working strongly on and I hope that it won't ruin anything for anyone.

Priorities & stats:

I picked what I thought would be most beneficial to my play style, as well as after researching what others have had experience with. Priorities are : Inquisition > 5 Holy Power Templar’s Verdict > Execution Sentence > Hammer of Wrath > Exorcism > Crusader Strike > Judgement > 3-4 Holy Power Templar’s Verdict.
As stats Prio are : Str > Haster > Mstery> Crit hit/exp cap (7.5% ATM)
Concerning my gems, i do use haste gems on yellow socket for a simple reason, 160 Str vs (320 Haste * 0.54 Str-equivalent per Haste) = 160 Str vs 172.8 Str-equivalent. So 320 haste gem is better then 160 str gem, specially when gear gets better. In other word 2 haste> 1 str (2*0.54=1.08 str > 1 str)

Keybinds and Macros:

1-Crusader strike
2-Judgment
3-temp verdict
4-Exorcism
Q-HOR
R -hammer of wrath
G-Wings
T -divine strom
Z-bubble
F-lay on hands
` -inquisition
E-hand of freedom
R- hammer of wrath

There are more binds but those are mostly used for Pve.

Macros:

It totally depends on the type of encounter we’re aiming at. On my first Will of Emp kill I was assigned to tank the Strenghts mobs who through out the encounter spawns randomly. This was done as ret and required me to enable and disable Righteous Fury. A macro became a must as they still wanted me to dps everything else. I can say i missed dancing for a while.

But for all encounters i use these. They can and will save a raid!
Hand of Sacrifice is normally macroed to my main tanks, along Lay on Hands.
Hand of Protection is not though. This is so situational based that it becomes abit hard, but I use it IF it’s a necessity.

I keep myself updated always with my class change and other classes changes. I mostly log every day atleast once on many forums to read up, mostly use elitistjerks/icyveins. I also read people comments specially about my class to see the point of view of other people and to give a plus to my knowledge and skills.

Previous Guilds/Reason for Leaving:

My current guild atm is Battery. The reason i am willing to leave is because Battery failed to continue with 25 man due to lack of people & decided to switch to 10 man for 5.2 consisting of a friends grp, people from balkan countries wtv...

Final words:

I'm sorry for the length of this application but I think that it's essential to do a good one, since afterall it's my first impression to you guys.
