Professions and Skill Level:
Tailoring and Herbalism. Both of these are maxxed out. The only reason I have herbalism on my main was for my old guild. No one had an alt that could farm herbs for the cauldrons so I accepted to do it. i realise it's not the most optimal for DPS so I'm more then happy to switch to alchemy

What Elixirs/Flasks/Buff food do you use in raids to boost your performance?
Flask of the warm sun, feasts or mogu fish stew, jade serpent potions and some seasonal buffs if available

Describe what you think you would bring to our guild if accepted. (raiding and social aspects)

I'm a dedicated raider with a very good knowledge of my class. I have a lot of experience in raiding since I've done it at the highest level possible. I used to be in a world top 5 guild. I'm fun and easy to get along with and usually bend over backwards trying to help the guild out

Previous Guilds: High Council, Impulse, That's nice

Reason for Leaving:
After having raided so hard core for so long in High council, I took a break as raiding 7 days a week with studies and work was not possible. I came back to join impulse in Cataclysm and we progressed very well and started off well in MOP. Unfortunately we lost a lot of members that were burnt out until there weren't enough people left to raid.
At that point, I moved to a friends guild but this didn't go well. They were far to casual raiding only 1h30 a week and never getting far or giving up after a few wipes. This pushed me to apply to you.

When did you start this character and how long have you /played?

I started this character about a year ago. He was my alt until MOP hit when I was asked to roll from my lock to my mage as we had no mages in the guild and we hadn't been able to find one for over a year.
I've been playing wow since launch and have been raiding ever since Molten Core came out.

What encounters and raids have you experienced in Mists of Pandaria? Please state if it was on 10man or 25man and was it normal or heroic

Cleared all of MSV normaland the first boos on Heroic and the first half of HOF. Then I joined that's nice and sadly it went belly up. The rest has been pugged or done in LFR

What previous raid experience (Vanilla, TBC, WoLK, Cata) do you have on this char? Please only mention stuff you did at the time when it was a current raid, we dont need to know you can clear black temple when you are level 90.

I've cleared all instances when they were current. I had a lot of realm firsts at the time of WOTLK culminating in our position as world number five during TOC. In cataclysm cleared all heroic including DS when it was still un-nerfed.

What do you think YOUR responsibilities are in a raid? :
My responsibilities are quite simply to do dps and avoid being barbecued in the fire. I also feel the need to amuse the raid with anecdotes and silly jokes when we're on a break.

What is your Spell Rotation ?

As arcane, I'm currently trying out he weaving spec which involves weaving scorches in with arcane missiles to maintain the 6 stacks.
As fire, it's pretty much standard firebolt, bomb, infernoblast, pyro

Why have you chosen to reforge, gem and enchant the way you have? Give a brief description on why particular stats are good for your class/spec.

As i play arcane and fire I've reforges to mastery and haste to cover my arrcane spec. I also have a fire spec with reforegsaver which automaticaly reforges towards crit and haste. I always have a set of gems on me to regem when needed fast and get the most out of the gear i have

Why did you choose to apply to this guild in particular? You seemed to be what i was looking for. A descent guild with good raiding times.

Yes the lock in the same guild as my mage

What days can you play and what hours during those days (Please let us know now so no confusion is caused if you were to be accepted)?: I can play all evenings based on what is needed.
(Members are required to be available for raiding at least 3/5 nights week with higher attendance preferred.) Raid days are Sun-Thur, 2000-0000 server time we do occasionally stay later if we are close to a kill. Fri & Sat are off nights but if people are online we try to do alt runs or RBG's.

Hello and thanks for applying to Cerebral.

After looking over your application and armoury there are a few things I would like to say in order to point you in the right direction. First of all in your Arcane spec choose a level 45 talent, I know it is pretty pointless and only has a use on a couple of encounters but it is still nice to have. The second thing is, un-glyph Arcane Power, my reasoning is as followed.

A couple of casts after you pull your trinkets are going to proc, they have a 45s and 50s ICD respectively, and only last 15s and 20s, thus meaning during your 1st Arcane Power which also lasts 15s in a best case scenario you are going to have 15s of Arcane Power without any trinkets up. If you un-glyph it, when your trinkets proc for a 3rd time (around 1.5m into the fight) you can use Arcane Power again and you will have your trinkets up alongside it. Using this method you may have to delay using Alter Time by 10-20s however it is defiantly worth it.

Good points. Thanks for the heads up makes perfect sense.
As for the talent must have forgotten to click learn as i switched around for pvp yesterday. Usually run with frostjaw in PVP for the extra silence.

I just replaced the glyph the mana gem one. An emergency gem is always good
