What Elixirs/Flasks/Buff food do you use in raids to boost your performance?

Standard flasks/food at all times.

Describe what you think you would bring to our guild if accepted. (raiding and social aspects).

I know my class and the game mechanics inside-out, obviously this aids my performance whilst raiding.

I have common sense and I am good at navigating and negotiating around an encounter. I am also a fast learner and pick things up fast.

I am a friendly chap who gets on with almost everyone, fun to be around, and always up for a good time.

Finally, I can take constructive criticism and am not afraid to learn from my mistakes.

Reason for Leaving:

The reasons for me leaving my past guilds were mostly down to not having time (school and work commitments). This is no longer a problem as I have more time at my disposal.

When did you start this character and how long have you /played ?

Created this char many moons ago.

What encounters and raids have you experienced in Cataclysm? Please state if it was on 10man or 25man and was it normal or heroic

I have been away from the game during most of cataclysm (for reasons why many have - little interest in the game).

When I came back a few months ago I cleared 8/8 DS hc on 10man. Little enjoyment however as the raid is appauling.

What previous raid experience do you have on this char? Please only mention stuff you did at the time when it was a current raid, we dont need to know you can clear black temple when you are level 85.

I began competitively raiding towards the end of TBC, clearing Black Temple and Sunwell 2/6 Before the nerf. WOTLK included taking Glory of the Raider in early 2009 (before Black Proto was removed) and continuing to take Glory of the Ulduar Raider (25) In late 2009. When TOC/TOGC hit I lost interest (as I'm sure many did), but cleared it a few weeks in on normal mode, and around a month in on heroic. I never really attempted the tributes as I had zero motivation. Icecrown Citedal - I started casually progressing on heroic 10man with a select group of guildies, we managed to take Glory of the Icecrown Raider (10man) roughly 4 months in to that major patch. After this, I had a major break from WoW, only casually raiding when I could, getting the bare minimum out of the game. During cataclysm I haven't taken part in any active raiding at all, it is only recently I have begun to get involved again, whilst being guildless. However, this has not effected my skill level in any which way. I am now looking ahead to MoP with great expectations.

What do you think YOUR responsibilities are in a raid? :
Give a original answer here, saying to buff and dps/heal/tank isnt really worth mentioning

To be fully prepared prior to the raid (physical items such as flasks etc, and also the knowledge of the encounters ahead). To listen to instructions and be fully involved in the raid dynamic, putting ideas forward if needed to defeat an encounter.

What is your Spell Rotation ?

I maintain water shield and earthliving weapon on myself at all times. I also maintain earth shield on whoever is taking the most damage (tanks usually). I try to use riptide on cooldown as much as possible over the raid, fitting in 2 healing waves or greater healing waves if needed (shorter cast time thanks to riptide).

If a big heal is needed: Riptide > Unleash Elements > Greater Healing Wave.

Whenever I have a few seconds to spare, I cast lightning bolt to regain some mana.

Why did you choose to apply to this guild in particular?

I would like to join Cerebral as the raiding levels and progression seem just right for me. I really would like to raid to the best of my ability and play at a high level among a guild, and Nation seem to accommodate this.

Many 85 alts, all on different realms.

Are you or any of your alts currently guilded?:

I am currently guilded but nothing is official.

I did indeed.

What days can you play and what hours during those days (Please let us know now so no confusion is caused if you were to be accepted)?:
(Members are required to be available for raiding at least 3/5 nights week with higher attendance prefered.) Raid days are Sun-Thur, 2000-2330 server time we do occasionaly stay later if we are close to a kill. Fri & Sat are off nights but if people are online we try to do alt runs or RBG's.

I can play Sunday to thursday from 19:30 onwards.

Previous online gaming experience (if any):

I played counter-strike 1.6 competitively at a very high level for several years.
